You'll love this neighborhood, surrounded with with beautiful, peaceful nature. You'll love this neighborhood, surrounded with with beautiful, peaceful nature. Sesartići street, where apartment is located, is in the hillside and in walking distance of picturesque town of Solin and it's 2000 years old ruins of Salona, ancient Roman province.
The old town of Solin offers several sights and museums, and hiking can be enjoyed in the untouched nature around the town. The historic Roman monuments of antique Salona are 1.5 km away from the property, while the UNESCO-protected Palace of Diocletian is 5.5 km away. Klis Fortress, Game of Thrones filming location, is also 5.5 km away. Split Airport is 20 km away.

GETTING AROUND
If you're driving, there's private parking lot in front of the house - your car will be safe! Coming by car would definitely be your best option, but other forms of transport are available as well.
If you are in need of transportation from airport, I can send taxi driver to meet you at the airport and drive you straight to the property for cca€40 fee. It would be very easy to spot the driver, holding placards with your name on it.
Bus stops are within walking distance (15 mins walk) from apartment, with 2 bus lines that will get you straight to the Split center. I could recommend a reliable taxi service that charges 15-20€ from my property to city center, depending on the route.
Distance between my property and Split Riva and Ferry port is 8.6 km. It takes around 40 minutes to get to there, depending on traffic in the city wich can be heavy during summer months. Nearest beach is 6.4 km, it takes 15-20 mins as well.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
You can expect plenty of sunshine from April to October on the coast, with July and August being the hottest months. April/May and September/October are the best months to travel holidays that involve activities and sightseeing, as the heat remains moderate and there are fewer crowds.
Lightweights and beachwear (including sun protection) are recommended for the spring/summer months. Medium weights are recommended for winter. Comfortable shoes are a must as there can be a lot of walking involved on some excursions. It is best to check weather forecasts yourself just prior to travel.
Coming from Mediterranean country mosquitoes bites are really not uncommon. We therefore advise you purchase high performance mosquito repellent before your trip and apply this regularly during your holiday. Room is provided with a ‘plug-in’ mosquito repellent device as an extra measure - don't forget to plug it into wall when you go to bed.
