We were 30min or less from all the major sightseeing destinations including waterfalls, craters, and several lagoons/thermal baths. "We all absolutely loved this house! I was captivated by the view from the deck and I’m so glad I took a chance bc it did not disappoint. The bedrooms and baths accommodated all 8 of us well and was an absolute dream during the northern lights season! This rental was better than I expected even from the pictures- but note— master suite is lovely but is detached from the main house and if you’re traveling from the states you may need Google translate to operate the kitchen appliances well. ...

"This was one of my highlights of Iceland! Hakon was an excellent host and provided us a unique Icelandic experience and really interesting tour of the island. The yurts were beautifully decorated, super clean and warm and dinner was amazing! Would highly recommend! 😊"

"Great place, wish I had stayed here my entire stay in Iceland. Decent restaurant and close to so much on the south east side of the Island, even Vic was on 1 1/2 hour drive away"

"The property is a typical, warm and friendly country inn, nestled on the outskirts of Thingvellir National Park. It is an easy drive to many amazing natural landmarks including Thingvellir, Silfra Fissure, Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, Secret Lagoon thermal springs, and much more. The included breakfast was excellent, as was the buffet dinner they offered in their restaurant. We stayed two nights and saw the aurora from the parking lot both nights. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here."
