"Magic spot, very quiet with lots of wildlife including a platypus in the creek, an echidna on the door step and lots of birds."

"What a gorgeous secluded cottage, which was very warm and toasty during a chilly weekend. Has everything you might need to self cater in the kitchen, toasty warm, and the heated floor in bathroom is divine! Tea, coffee, S&P, oil and some spices are welcomed, along with very clean linen supplied. Trains/highway barely noticeable in winter. We could happily stay there week, along with our pooch who was very happy with the safe and fully enclosed yard, and doggie paraphernalia for his stay."

It was a great location off the main area but still great for accessing the sights and town. The property was well appointed in an older style, but did absolutely everything we wanted and we felt the charm of this little cottage."

"Our family of 4 visited the area around Oberon to go fossicking and Hillcrest Farm Stay was a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The kids particularly enjoyed the fire pit in the cold weather! The host, Neil, was very responsive in the lead up, and also hospitable and attentive during our stay. We will definitely be back!"
