"If you come here for a view, you will not get disappointed. Whoever designed this property, did an excellent job. If you come here for peace and quiet, don’t count on it. 5* experience it was not for sure in terms of staff, the only ones I would like to praise are the filipino waiting staff at the buffet services. I was refused a bottle of still water on the last day of our stay even though had 2 more hours till check out.. tried to explain I need to take meds but the receptionist Klaudia kept talking over me trying to say it’s a service they only provide in the afternoon when the housekeeping was attending the room in the morning the previous day .. I was lost for words and appalled by this nonsense. "

"Had a lovely stay at Hotel Maria, the staff were all lovely and welcoming, with excellent English. The location is great...10 min walk to the town square and some great pubs close by. The breakfast was a small but good selection of different items and I never left the breakfast room feeling hungry."

"We stayed at this property due to being stranded in Ostrava during the Central Europe floods while in transit to Krakow. It wouldn’t be our first choice of hotels but any port in a storm. The staff were helpful but the property is probably 2 star at best "
