"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. "Lovely welcome package - helpful guide from the owner and beautiful views. Comfortable sleeping for seven guests and good cooking appliances and cutlery. Lots to do in area and close to boat hire and water sports hire places. Good restaurants nearby in Sorico. The natural spring is quite challenging to get to but a good adventure. No complaints - would recommend! "

"This apartment was in a wonderful location near the water, restaurants and food shopping. Plenty of parking and convenient to the apartment. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. This location was so beautiful and restful. A great getaway for a couple!"
