The location was super convenient, so close to the main shopping district and a 5 minute walk from the trams and buses, or a 20 minute walk to Sakurajima or the train station. "Nice hotel and would definitely stay here again. Room was a bit bigger than the smaller sized Japanese hotel rooms l've experienced (especially the bathroom which had a full-sized walk-in shower). Bed was very, very comfortable. Shower had a 'normal' shower head and a rainfall shower too. Good in-room amenities. Nice staff. "

"Room is small as expected but not laid out well. No under bed storage is a serious deficiency so the only place to lay an open suitcase is in front of the door. Which means moving so I can jump over it to leave the room and moving it back when I want to get into the bathroom. Only a small bench is provided so there really isn't anywhere comfortable to sit, had to try to make do by propping pillows up on the bed.
