"We arrived here very late so only had a short experience but it was great. The room was very comfy and a decent size and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was the best we had on our Norway trip. Really varied and tasty with an amazing view of the mountains. We didn't get time to use the spa or other facilities but it was very convenient for heading up to Gaustatoppen."

"Two night stay, Feb 2025 Overall had a great stay, the Hotel is warm and comfortable and the refurbished decor is lovely. The log burner in the lounge/bar area was lit every afternoon/evening and we always found a comfortable corner. Bedrooms are not huge but are comfortable and we had a great view, worth the extra cost for a lake facing room. "The place has beautiful surroudings, but the place needs an upgrade to match the beautiful mountains. Especially the food served for dinner was below expectations The cleanliness of the bathrooms was not acceptable. On the positive side, the sauna was very impressive. With a better kitchen, the place can be recommended. "

"Great room except view was a wall. Had everything we could need along w/icebox & stove. Shower was so small you had to turn sideways to get in! Food was expensive in dining area. $50 for nachos & a club sandwich. Nice stay but expensive"

"The location of the hotel is right next to the river, a lovely spot to relax. It's not far by car to the Krossbanen (closed for 2024), the Gaustabanen, and the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are not too many dinner options nearby, but there are some, although youll likely need a car. Breakfast was average. "

"Så hyggelig på Rødberg Hotell, selv om det er gammelt og loslitt. Veldig rent, og med god smakfull mat på både frokostbufee og middager. Rikholdig meny. Det eneste som ikke var helt i orden, var høyden på toalettet på HC-rommet. De var for lave, og bør skiftes ut til noen utgaver som er 10 cm høyrere. Det var ikke mulig for meg i rullestol å bruke disse...Men fikk krisehjelp av hjemmesykepleien på stedet, også helt fantastiske. Og ellers var JAFS rett over veien, som hadde en perfekt...
