Rimfire Lodge 247 - Deluxe 1 Bedroom in the Village

Privately owned 1 bedroom condo located in Rimfire Lodge, the heart of Snowshoe's mountaintop village. Condo sleep 4 and offers a spectacular western mountain views with fantastic sunsets, gas fireplace, full kitchen, and much more.

The lodge offers direct slope access (ski-in/ski-out), ski and bike lockers, outdoor hot tubs, sauna, fitness room, Alpenglow Hearth room, restaurants, shopping and heated underground parking garage. Rimfire Lodge is adjacent to Snowshoe's Split Rock Aqua Center.

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is considered the premier ski resort east of the Rocky Mountains and south of New England. In addition to the skiing, there are many winter activities and events to choose from including tubing down the Coca-Cola Tube Park, a snowmobile tour, or a snowcat tour.

The following statistics will help you understand the mountain: 180' average snowfall, 60 trails ranging from beginner to expert, 2 expert trails with 1500’ vertical drop and 1.5 miles long, 100% snowmaking on 260 acres of terrain, night skiing on 12 trails at the Silver Creek Ski area. 3 high-speed detachable quad lifts, 2 fixed quad lifts, and 6 triple lifts. For the smallest skiers check out the magic carpet lift at Snowshoe and Silver Creek.

Snowshoe Mountain is a four-season resort. During the summer when temperatures almost never reach 80, play the Gary Player designed Raven Golf Course rated 'top 100 in the country' by Golf magazine. Bike and hike the miles of trails that Snowshoe offers on their 11,000 acres. Canoe, kayak or paddlebike on Shaver's lake. Let the kids spend the day at the Wildcat Adventure Camp, Ride the Hare Racer Zipline, Eurobungie, or wall-climbing. Enjoy scenic lift rides, sport clays, wilderness Segway tours, Polaris RZR tours and guided horseback rides. There are many other summer activities and events to choose from. From mid September through October view the fall foliage.

Deposits:
A minimum deposit of 50% rate is required to secure the reservation. The balance is due at least 30 days prior to check-in date.

Cancellations and refunds:
Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to check-in date shall be subject to a $50 administration fee. The balance of your deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 60 days of check-in date will result in forfeiture of total deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days of check-in date will result in forfeiture of total payment.

Cozy Condo
We had a great stay in Snowshoe and really enjoyed the accommodations. The condo is right in the heart of the village and a short walk from the lifts. We will certainly look this place up again next time we head to Snowshoe.

We had a fantastic weekend with our two boys 8 and 10. The room was equipped with everything we needed and clean. Location was perfect as we could grab our snowboards and hit the slope from the back door! Great shops and restaurants in the village. Hope to return again soon!!

Lovely accommodations, made for a great trip.
Very much enjoyed this quick trip to Snowshoe, the condo was cozy, clean and in a perfect location. Check in was easy, and although the garage parking was full, the lot across the street is convenient. Would 100% rent this property again.

This was a very clean and roomy one-bedroom condo at Snowshoe. Had a great view of the mountains from the balcony every morning sunrise and evening sunset. Quick walk into Pedestrian Village. Would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect in the village. The room is clean and the kitchen has all the needed items for preparing breakfast and other meals. We enjoyed the hot tub after our days on the slopes and we hope to return again in the future.

Great Condo
We love staying at Rimfire. It’s a perfect village location for ski in/out. Love the special touches of this place. Loads of hangers all around for towels and ski gear to dry. Rooms are payed out well to maximize space. Plenty of dishes to cook good meals. We will stay again. Thanks

Spring Break at Snowshoe
We brought our son and his friend to stay for four nights. The property was just as the listing says. We locked the keys in the room and were able to get in touch with the owner quickly. Getting the new key was just as simple as he explained. We would stay here again!!!

This property was well furnished and clean. Check in was a breeze and all the information regarding unit/lodge/parking was sent to us prior to the trip. We had an issue with the fireplace not lighting and the property manager was quick to respond and had it fixed the next morning! If you do have someone sleeping on the pull out, I would recommend bringing a matress pad or using an air mattress instead. Overall great trip and would stay again!

Condo was very nice. Clean and very well furnished. Public spaces, halls and elevators were a little run down. Very convenient to village and slopes. Public lot across the street was an unmarked free for all. We got blocked in by other cars.

Mostly great place to stay and ski
Enjoyed our stay in Rimfire. The place was clean and well-located. Definitely would rent again. There was a few negative which I hope the owner will fix: -The internet was only intermittent and rather weak -Could use a few more warm blankets (and a few more plates) to accommodate 4 people staying there. -The mattress on the fold out couch was miserable. - The heating was a bit less than needed (and floor drafty), but that could be because the temp. was 1 degree F outside while we were there.

Christmas stay
We enjoyed our stay at Sbowshoe for this property. The check in process was complicated and not easy. It wasn’t the fault of the owner, but poor communication from Snowshoe. The property was clean and cozy. We would have appreciated better pillows and the pull out couch wasn’t comfortable, but we made it work. There was also no creature comforts like soap, shampoo or paper towels. The host did communicate very well.

Clean condo in fantastic location!
Great place for our family of four to stay for a short ski excursion. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals in. We loved the warm fireplace & outdoor hot tubs! Only negative is the couch & pullout mattress was very uncomfortable - my son could feel the springs. Luckily he only had to sleep on it for 2 nights. I understand the owner (who was very responsive) is replacing this after the 2021 ski season. Would definitely stay here again with a new couch! Would also recommend removing 2 of the 6 dining room chairs, which seemed oversized for the condo.

Great location, studio room was clean, and nicely decorated.
The property was perfect for a great weekend of skiing. Great location , close to the slopes, restaurants and shops. Amenities like hot tubs, ski lockers, parking was perfect. Studio room was clean, and well maintained. We had a problem with the keys and access all weekend. After checking in the key worked great for entry into the room and parking but later wold not work for access back into the building. Then on Saturday upon returning from dinner the key would not work for entry into the building or the room. We had to walk to another location to key the keys fixed. Upon return to the room we found out the owner had double booked the room and our keys had been turned off. The situation was quickly resolved after phone call with the owner. Would definitely stay at the property again in the future.

Wonderful unit overshadowed by issues.
The rental property was comfortable and well stocked to perform daily activities. The owner communicated with us prior to our arrival with a complete list of instructions and information regarding the rental property. Upon our arrival we discovered the refrigerator light was burned out and dirty clothes were left behind which we communicated to the owner. The purpose of the communication was informational only. In the kitchen we found the coffee pot to be dirty and still contained used coffee grounds. We did not think much of this as this can be overlooked by housekeeping. Upon opening the cupboards, we found dirty dishes, coffee cups, and glasses. At that time we started taking photos of the things we were finding. We wiped up water off the kitchen floor which provided evidence of a very dirty floor. The bathroom floor was equally dirty. We sent communication and photos to the owner. Rather than offering to send the cleaning service to address the issues, the owner blamed it on the previous renters. We spent time cleaning the dishes and utensils we planned to use to ensure that items were clean before we utilized them. Additionally, when we used the crockpot, cookie sheet, and blender more cleaning was necessary. We have been renting at Snowshoe for six years and we have never encountered such conditions as we did with this unit. This unit had many amenities that most units don’t have — numerous quality games and movies, magazines, and kitchen supplies. All the positive things were overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness of this unit.
