The original Newhard Chalet, built by the Newhard family, was the first vacation home in Snowmass Village, built in 1967. The current Newhard Chalet is a more contemporary mountain house, built in 2000. The home is on three levels on 1/2 acre adjoining a green belt, with aspen and spruce trees framing the house.
Enter the Chalet into a great room with a comfy seating area around the fireplace with a wall-mounted television, a dining area with two oval tables with seating in captain's chairs for up to 20 people, and a large, very well-equipped kitchen, all with valley and mountain views. Guest half-bath on the main level. The master bedroom with its own deck and full ensuite bath is located off the living room. Entry from living/dining area to deck with gas barbecue and all-weather chairs and tables.
The upper level leads to a loft bedroom with 2 twins and a balcony loft with 2 twins, plus a bathroom with a shower. The lower level has 3 queen bedrooms, a family room, 2 full baths, and a washer/dryer. The family room opens onto a lower patio with a large hot tub.

Please note that ski season is from late November to mid-April. The summer season is from mid-June to early September. Off-season rentals are available at reduced rates.
There is an additional pet fee - two dogs max, no other pets allowed.
