Amazing
This place was so great! The space is perfect. It feels very cozy because it's separated by three floors but there is plenty of space. It's very tranquil and you feel like you're alone in the woods. There's plenty of wood and the fire is so nice. The upstairs had lots of sleeping space and the downstairs room is super comfortable. The couch on the main level even pulls out to a bed. There are decks in front and back. It's close to Silver Fir where I love to ski. We were so happy to be able to watch Tulsa King and Landman! The kitchen had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay and will come back again for sure!!

Ski get away
This was a cute, cozy ski getaway! The other reviewers are right about needing an SUV in snowy weather and about the stairs but if you’re up for those things, it’s a great spot to ski snowshoe or hike from. Also close to all of the Snoqualmie resorts and a few cute restaurants.

Had a great time
Our group had 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog. The teens stayed in the bunk room and loved it! There was a small issue before we arrived, but the host called to let us know before we arrived and the communication was great. We would stay again.

Beautiful Setting!
Very nice A-frame with gorgeous views. Decor is somewhat dated and the cabin could use better lighting, but the owners supplied everything you might need, including a well outfitted kitchen, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, laundry detergent, toiletries, games, videos, and toys for kids. A great place to stay!

Not what was expected.
On arrival the house was pretty cold. I realized the main form of heat is the wood stove with only a few small space heaters. There was no kindling cut or paper to start a fire and we had to improvise. Carpets are very dirty and the couch has lots of stains.

Great location. Really fun kids room. Great amenities. Looks like it has been abused by past tenants and could use some updates but 9/10 would stay again.

Beautiful, quiet location close to the Interstate for easy travel to Seattle area or Eastern Washington. Owner has outfitted the cabin with everything you might need while on vacation! Just wish there were curtains on windows in living room and on the side windows of upstairs master bedroom.

Long weekend
House is a bit smaller than it appears online and the spiral stairs weren’t the easiest to deal with…problem only because navigating them after a 100 mile race proved difficult. I’m probably the only one with that problem though. Otherwise it was great, very pretty area and competitively priced. Would definitely recommend this house considering the pricing of all the other available places in the area.

Winter wonderland adventure with friends
We (5 kids and 3 adults) had a fabulous time at the cabin. Excellent location, lots of fun for adults and kids. Children's play area with toys, thoughtfully designed living room, sleds, shoe drier, washer and dryer. Some guests mentioned cold, but we were always warm (during cold weather and snowfalls) with heaters and a great wood-burning oven. Hope to come back soon! Please don't raise the price, you are the most affordable rental in the neighborhood :)

Family Reunion
We didn’t spend a lot of time during the day because we spent it at my cousin’s cabin for a family reunion. It was nice to have a place away. I was able to cook up most of the ingredients for a large egg and sausage bake. The house had everything I needed. The multiple staircases were a little straining for my sister. She had been attacked by 5 pit bulls a few years back so she stayed on the 2nd floor. Everything worked out great.

Ski Week Trip
We loved our week at this lovely cabin. We spent the week skiing at Snoqualmie. Since we were there during the week it wasn't really ski in ski out since East was closed. We did (even our school age boys) boot over to the cross over to ski Silver Fir or drove over to Alpental. The cabin was very well appointed for our week- including everything we would need for the kitchen, movies and games. The only thing I would advise is the 'jungle gym' was very fun for our slightly older kids (8 and 12). The jungle gym, circular stairs and (wonderful) wood stove would make this a tricky property for those with very littles. Thank you--- We had a wonderful time and your place was perfect for us.

It was adequate
There was a strong mildew/mold smell when we arrived that was present for the entire stay. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, as was the main floor living space. The spiral stairs are a bear if you have trouble with steps. The driveway and front walkway were not shoveled, but the road getting up to the place was very well groomed. It would be good to have a snow shovel in the cabin for clearing the deck and drive. Everything in the kitchen worked and we had what we needed to cook with. The cabin got warm quickly from the great fireplace, and the bedrooms stayed warm through the night even as the fire died out. The beds were comfortable.

Wasnt bad but wouldnt stay here again
The listing was pretty accurate and pictures as well. I give it a 3 star for the cleanliness and the coldness. The bottom floor was freezing, 2nd floor was cold, and 3rd floor was manageable. I stayed here with my wife and 5 month old daughter. We had to stay on the 3rd floor because the house was so cold. There was also dirt and dog hair throughout the house (noticeable on the carpet and couches). I didnt feel comfortable laying on the couch because of that. We rented the place for 3 nights but I only stayed 1 night. Not a bad place if your just here to snowboard or ski but I wouldnt stay here to hang out.

Great location, small house!
The place was mostly as advertised and documented by previous guests. It is an older house, very vertical with spiral staircases. I would be cautious with small kids! We had some problems that would have been solved with a written guest manual (unclear how to manage the fireplace, which is the only real source of heat for the house), but we did have a great response from Vacasa and from the owner. We couldn't get floorboard heaters to work at all. House is in need of some upgrades and minor repairs, but is well stocked and comfortable. We tried to do virtual school and work during the day and the internet could comfortably manage 1 of the 4 of us on a video call at a time (with some inconsistency even at that). There is a landline, which came in handy as we had no cell reception. Great access to Summit East downhill, XC and sledding!

NOT a downhill Ski in Ski out
First of all it has to be said that this is not a Ski-in/out in terms of downhill skiing. I would say this is very misleading given the fact that is it very close to the mountain and yet you cannot see the exact location of the house until after you book it. Second, when we arrived at the house it had not snowed for 2 days and was raining and yet there was still 8" of mushy nasty snow in the drive that never got cleared for us prior to arrival. Our 4 wheel drive vehicle almost did not make it up the driveway, and one time slid back down the driveway on its own. I asked the maintenance to come clear it and was told there was a shovel that I could use to take care of it myself. After texting them several times, they finely came to plow the snow the day before we were checking out. The house itself is great. A bit rustic in terms of heating and a very much up north cabin feel that we really like. I give this house a 5 star review, but the description and the issue with the snow really put a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

it was nice for the most part but i don't recommend it in winter unless they make a change
We arrived on Friday and could not walk to the door due to the snow - and had nowhere to park - the driveway was not plowed. We attempted to shovel it and couldn't so we had to park on the street. Neighbors were relentless with complaints - we had no option and nobody responded when we sent messages to ask for it to be fixed. After the Vacasa staff called - only to tell me the neighbors were going to tow us, not to even respond to our initial calls - I was laughed at and hung up on when I told her we didn't have a place to park - she told me "that's funny" and hung up. Finally a plower came but it was the night before we left so we listened to the complaints all weekend. There was not one word in the agreement about where else to park and when we got there, the water was off - no notes, instructions or details on how to turn that on. Would be good to provide a phone number to call for help and details on winter stays for the amount that is charged.
