"Great lil place to stay if you are like us and book last minute for RoundTop. Quaint and clean. Supplied with all the extra touches. Coffee, popcorn, chocolates. The only issue we had was that the curtains couldn't be opened due to the faulty curtain rods, so it felt very closed in during the mornings. And not the quietest neighborhood on the wkds.Other than that, would totally recommend it. "

"Property is very nice. I would stay there again. Some negative feedback in the reviews about loud trains passing by, but honestly, it was not bad at all. Loud for less than a minute at a time. Very clean, nice furniture and amenities, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. What else do you need."

Couple of points to note:1) uncomfortable sofa which was too small for the room and for sitting2) bed pillows - sleeping pillow options would be appreciated3) lighting is way too bright - dimmers will helpLocation and neighborhood were disappointing as we were traveling to Round Top for the Annual Market Event."

"We absolutely loved Duck Nest! Not only was the property wonderful, but the owners were exceptional and very communicative. We stayed here with our brother's family (2 adults and 6-year-old) and our family (2 adults and 6-year-old) and it was the perfect set up. The owners left out snacks and the house was superbly clean. We enjoyed our morning beverages on the deck with the lovely view of the lake. The kids had a blast hanging out together (cousins - one in Tx and one in NC)with the bunk room...

"My family of 5 stayed here while my husband took at class at Rellis. Perfect distance from the school & food. My kids loved the house, plenty of beds. Very comfy. Only complaint would be the washer it shakes the whole house when it runs lol. Other than that it’s perfect "

"Nice little condo. Quiet except for neighbor who decided to have a conversation outside at 5:30am on speaker phone. The only thing I would change is that there is so much stuff in the condo—plastic plants and fake plates. Hard to find a work space. "
