"We had the most wonderful experience staying at this property over Christmas! The house was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly thoughtful, leaving a basket of holiday treats and fruit, which added a personal and warm touch to our stay. "Our stay was amazing, we had everything we needed and did not want to leave the property. The beautiful deck opens up onto the estuary where you can hop in the kayaks at high tide or sit at the jetty with your morning coffee. The house had everything we needed to cook, have a bbq and play some games and cards around the table. Straight across the road you can swim in the ocean with stunning farmland, mangroves, and views beyond. We would happily book again for another stay. "

"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. My friend and I stayed here for Hidden Valley and had the best time partying, exploring Matakana and spending time in this wonderful private haven.
