Escape to Hang Zen.

You will love "Hang Zen" - a 3700 sqft OCEANFRONT home curated with original art throughout and plenty of room for any group. Wake up from any of the freshly updated 6 en-suite bedrooms all with direct access to decks overlooking the ocean and take advantage of the beach access in your backyard! Direct views of the peaceful sound too! Don’t forget the elevator to all floors and the hot tub overlooking the ocean.

The second level has 2 rooms with King beds and 2 rooms with 2 sets of bunk beds. A total of 4 beds in each bunk bedroom. On the third level you will find the gorgeous kitchen, dining area, tv area with electric fireplace for those cozy winter stays and a powder room. Plus another bedroom with a King bed and private bath. On the top floor, there is a large master suite with a King bed and 2 pullout couches. All 6 bedrooms have an attached bathroom. And a deck that gives amazing views of the ocean; see if you can see the dolphins swim by.

We had a wonderful stay, this is a great house! The view is wonderful and there was plenty of parking for a big group. Every bed had a memory foam topper and was SO comfortable! The host was very accommodating and responsive. We travel a lot as photographers and this was one of our favorites homes!

Graduation getaway
Great location! Right on the beach and water views of the inlet in front of the house. Very beautiful home, equipped with everything you need for your stay. Having an elevator was a plus for groceries and navigation throughout the property. My friends and family truly enjoyed their getaway. Even though they were here for a graduation, they felt like they were on vacation. Will definitely rent again!!!

Perfect Beach Vacation at the Hang Zen!
The Hang Zen provided a perfect location for a relaxing beach vacation for our family. Property is in an ideal location - right on beach! Access is ideal. We have a family member who has a physical disability, so the elevator allowed her to join us on vacation and enjoy the entire property. Home is well stocked with anything you might need. Robert was a great host. Very responsive to any questions or concerns. We had a wonderful vacation at the Hang Zen. One of the best properties I have stayed at!

Great Vacay!
Hang Zen is a wonderful beach house that fit our family of 15 adults and teens perfectly. We appreciated the extra things they supplied in the bathroom and kitchen like shampoos, soaps, detergents, spices coffee filters, foil, etc. . We also appreciated the extra beach chairs and beach games. Rob and Kelly were very responsive and communicated well during our stay. We loved being only steps away from the beach, sitting on the deck drinking coffee watching dolphins, and taking daily beach walks enjoying the early morning dawn and sunrise. We enjoyed our day in quaint Wilmington. Overall, we loved our stay at their beautiful vacation home and can’t wait to return!

Great Stay
Two weeks before our stay the property changed owners. The new owners worked with me to make transition seamless. They were responsive and quick to respond. We were a party of 11 adults staying for a family reunion. The place was terrific. On the beach with great views and beach access. Four king en-suite bedrooms and two bunk bed en-suite bedrooms. The common spaces were perfect for our group as there is an open concept living room and kitchen big enough to hold our group whether it was eating, playing games, or lounging on the very comfortable couch. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity! We loved it and hope to come back.

Beautiful home
The house was huge and beautiful! We had 17 family members all together and there was so much room for everyone. Everything that you could think of needing was available in the house. You had a beautiful oceanfront view from the living room and dining area, and also from every bedroom! We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The beach was just a quick walk out the door. The owners were great!! They messaged us before leaving for vacation and then on the day of arrival with everything we needed to know. Once there, they responded back immediately with any questions we had or anything that we needed. Would definitely highly recommend their house.

Perfect for a large group of many ages
We rented this property for a four-family vacation It was perfect, with just the right number of king-size bedrooms for the adults. All our kids fit perfectly into the other bedrooms with bunk beds. The house was clean and looked just like the pictures in the listing. It has a good view of the ocean and we all spent hours on the back decks soaking it up. I loved that the decks above provided some shade to the decks below. The kitchen had a decent supply of dishes, utensils, pans, and other cooking necessities. All the appliances worked like they should. We rented this house specifically because of the elevator and were very grateful that it worked well. One of the adults in our group has mobility issues and required an elevator. It is slow, but it worked just like it needed to. ONE NOTE ON ACCESSIBILITY although this property has an elevator, it is not otherwise set up for improved accessibility. Specifically, the bathrooms do not have grab-bars or hand-held shower nozzles. We managed to work around this and made it work out just fine.

This house was perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway with family! Plenty of room and the views are AMAZING! What we loved was the fact that every room had a view and access to a balcony. Owners are great with communication and check in/out process was a breeze. Would highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay at Hang Zen was!!! The rooms, so many, and all with wonderful views. The main floor set up is incredible - overlooking the beach and ocean. The hosts were just as great - super responsive and made sure our stay was good. The house and experience made for an unforgettable family vacation!!!

Lovely house in a lovely place!
We hosted our small(25 guests) wedding at this house and it was great. The top floor bed was super comfortable, and multiple guests mentioned that their beds were also comfortable. The elevator came in handy for moving all of our event supplies to the kitchen level. The huge balconies were a hit for everyone who was staying and those who visited just for the wedding. I only wish we could've stayed longer!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy family time!
Our trip was amazing. We had a mixture of ages 1 to 70. My sister and husband, her 6 year old, and 16 year old, and his friend, my son and wife and their 1, 2 and 4 year olds, my 18 year old daughter, her best friend, and my parents who are over 70 with some mobility issues, and me and my dog! The house was perfectly separated for everyone to have our personal space. Robert was great to communicate with and the process very simple. We had an amazing week! I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to relax.
