"Really nice cottage. Great location. Quiet. Langley is fun. Would go go back, but: I booked with VRBO, then got handed off to Vacasa as the property manager. Way more hoops to go through than any other VRBO booking I've done. They were responsive, but demanding. Maybe good for the owner, a pain for me. Next time I book with VRBO and get handed to Vacasa I will cancel. The cottage is really nice. "

Unfortunately on our first night we were woken by rodents in the ceiling and walls. I made owner aware and she apologized. I emailed her two more times about the same issue. "The house on the beach has a real cabin feel which was just what we were looking for in our winter getaway. We found the heat on but the cabin was cold when we arrived. No surprise - it was near 40F outside. There is a mini-split in the open living space and electric wall heaters in each bedroom, in the laundry room, and a heater in the bathroom.
