It has numerous outdoor activities within 30 minutes if you enjoy hiking, canoe/kayaking, biking, fishing, etc. The cottage is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. The town offers many great boutiques and antique stores.The cottage is a block from famous homes featured in the movies, Hope Floats and The Tree of Life. You can see the Hope Floats house from the porch! Come unwind and enjoy the small town life!

The cottage is a generously sized space that boasts two comfortable full beds, a convenient kitchenette, and a private bathroom. Nestled within its confines is a cozy yard enveloped by a 6 ft. privacy fence, ensuring your seclusion and tranquility. My hubby and I really enjoyed staying in this cottage, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the pool and bike riding in the areas. We felt very safe and really enjoyed the quiet environment! Would definitely stay again!!

Quick but Relaxing Stay
My daughter and I stayed on the property to be close by an event located in Bastrop. The neighborhood is quiet with several good restaurant options. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We are looking forward to returning soon!

We loved our stay here. The cottage & yard are beautiful, and the historic neighborhood is beautiful & quiet. The cottage had everything you need & many great touches. Heather was so kind & easy to communicate with through the app. The homeowners left us completely alone to enjoy the backyard & pool. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect anniversary weekend!
The cottage was just adorable with everything we could need or want. It was so well stocked and everything tucked away. Beautiful neighborhood. It was amazing to swim in the morning and watch the hummingbirds get their breakfast from the amazing native landscaping and flowers. We loved it and would highly recommend to couples!

This property was just as advertised. Comfortable and nice. Communication with Heather was easy and prompt. Street was quite dark so the property can easily be missed at night but the neighborhood is lovely and historic.

What a cute and cozy cottage?!!!
My best friend and I stayed here for a little girls getaway and it was absolutely perfect!! The space was perfect for us, it was clean and we had everything we needed. The pool area is the absolute best. Flowers all around, quiet and relaxing. If you’re worried about the fact that it is “in someone’s back yard”, don’t. We didn’t see a single person and they made us feel like the whole area was completely ours. Just absolutely amazing!!!
