"Gostilna pri Janezu is a real gem. Everything was excellent, and we are certainly coming back. This is a beautifully organised modern building with tasteful decor. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves some amazing home cooking. The staff are kind, helpful, and multilingual, and they make sure each guest is treated like a king. "Adjacent a main highway, but the traffic noise wasn't bothersome for us, though it might have been if you wanted to leave a window open. The breakfast area seemed a little too small for the number of guests, and in particular the coffee machine was a real choke point. Great location for exploring. We found delicious kebab at the beer fountain park in Zalec and toured a very nicely restored castle in Celje. "

This photo was actually taken in May, but I just love it. It was one off my last hikes before I left Slovenia. It's a nice hike trough a forest path up the stream. After a half hour you see a waterfall hidden in the forest. You can go back or if your still full of energy go forward all the way to Sveti trije Kralji witch is another hour and half walking.
