"We stayed for one night and we were just traveling in the area. The property is very nice and a great change from the chain hotels. There is a great deal of character in the furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. We found places to eat nearby.The staff recommended a dinner place that was good and we never would have found it on our own. "Larry was attentive but the unit was very dirty when we arrived. Dirty floor, dirty bathroom (I will spare you the details), dusty and stained carpets. We heard animals in the wall the first night so we did not sleep in one of the rooms. I texted Larry in the morning and he came while we were out to look at it and "clean" the bathroom. Unfortunately, when we got back that evening we saw a mouse and felt so uncomfortable that we packed up and drove home. It was a real disappointment."
