"The Knipoch is decorated in the most perfect country house style. Check in was very welcoming and seamless and in no time we were shown to our rather lovely room… From the artwork to the lamp bases; the bed throw to the amenities, and the incredibly comfortable bed it is obvious that they really care. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the lounge, sitting in front of a roaring fire whilst we sipped our evening drinks. We only stayed the one night but will definitely be going back."

"It is a lovely hotel in Oban. Its set back slightly but you can walk anywhere in about 5 minutes. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. "

"Have stayed in this hotel several times and am never disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location and is always very clean. I also appreciate how close it is for walking into the town. I would like to mention that the staff were once again very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. I plan to go back to Oban soon and I know this will be the hotel I use again next time."

"I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!"
