Most Charming Stay in Ireland
Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. We loved our two-level, lovely decorated cottage room that included a small kitchen. If you can get a room, don't hesitate to book. You'll love it. Next time I return I'm staying as long as I can!

Cottage #3
A "little 2 story cottage" was a welcome change after a week of hotels throughout Ireland. Cottage 3 could be used for 3 couples (3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms). Grounds were beautiful for walks thought the gardens. Two restaurants on the grounds were great as well. We had our included full breakfast delivered to our kitchen for a relaxed breakfast before checkout for a 10 euro per person charge.

Great spot just out of Dublin
We flew into Dublin and chose Tankardstown because it was close to places we wanted to visit. Easy to find, comfortable, an interesting place to explore and very friendly staff made it a very pleasant stay. Should have stayed longer!

Tankardstown House- close to Neolithic Newgrange
A lovely quiet setting. Spacious and well appointed cottage next to beautiful country house- which we had full use of as well. Excellent food at breakfast and Brabazon restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Slane 2011
Hi, We booked the above hotel to attend the gig at Slane last weekend. I was very impressed with the ambience, surroundings and cleanliness of the hotel. However my one fault was that we were offered a lift into Slane village and a pick up that night after the gig and not given an amount to be charged for this service. It was 10euro each way and I was charged for the return journey even though I walked back as I had got lost and left the gig early and felt bad about ringing the owner for an earlier lift back! Apart from this hiccup though we had a nice stay
