"The property is beautiful and the rooms. It is off the beaten track so a little tricky to find but very lovely setting and pool and restaurant/ sitting room. "We found Dar Bladi on hotels.com after a long day of driving. It is not easy to get to by car as it is a bit out of the city and the roads are not well lit however, the place itself is lovely and the staff even more so. The room had water and some fruit waiting for us and they even brought us some tea and biscuits not to go hungry till dinner. Room was very spacious. The hotel offers dinner (set menu only) which is the reason we went out for dinner. "

Kasbah AIt Ben Damiette. We stopped here at this renovated kasbah for lunch en route to Ouarzazate. They have done the most incredible job restoring this with gorgeously decorated rooms. An older French couple own it and host travelers from around the world. And the food - so very delicious. This is an oasis in the desert on so many levels.
