Set just a short stroll from all the local amenities, wonderful walking opportunities direct from the doorstep await, either over the moors or along the River Wharfe. The incredible scenery of the surrounding area offers breathtaking drives and picnic options galore.

The quaint village of Grassington, which plays a starring role in the current version of All Creatures Great and Small, is a delight any time of the year. Whether you prefer the quiet solitude of winter, lamb watching in spring, the wildflowers of summer, or the various festivals (the Arts Festival in June, the 1940s Weekend in September, and the Dickensian Festival in December), you can expect a warm welcome. The village is well served with family run tea rooms, shops, pubs, and restaurants, all within 50 yards of Ivy Cottage.

Cosy cottage in great location in the centre of Grassington. Very well equipped, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The owners provided a lovely basket of local goodies and milk and butter in the fridge which was much appreciated. We were also able to access a very comprehensive online guide before we left home which was really useful. We had a great holiday at Ivy Cottage
