"I have stayed here previously so was happy to book again. However the room this time was a disappointment; next to the lift so obviously very noisy, bathroom rather unpleasant damp smell. Good that we were only there for 2 nights or I would have complained. Overall still a nice place to stay as the location is very convenient for me to visit family in the area."

"Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."

"All round good place to stay as we passed through. Please be aware you are right outside a church that rings its bells every half hour all the way through the night. Not for light sleepers. Obviously nothing to do with the property which was a good stay. Just something to note. Food and drink in the surrounding area was on the pricey side too. "
