The "Palm Court Hotel" on south parade was as described. It was in the 'perfect location' quiet enough to sleep at night, but near enough to walk to the 'Clock Tower'. My room had a fantastic view out over the sea, as it was at the top of the property. The only downside was because of my 'mobility issues' it was up 2 flights of stairs. I however got used to this - and took the stairs steadily, both upwards and downwards. Also when I arrived Angelique, very kindly carried my case up the stairs ti my room for me. There is also adequate stair Bannister's either side to hold onto. The wi- fi was excellent at this property, even for me at the top..!! The room was warm, clean, adequately provisioned ( tea, coffee, sugar, milk, small kettle, cup, spoon). There is also a file within the room all about the property and the owners. There is also a 'quiet time' policy in the property between 9pm and 6am - this is for guests benefit so they can get some sound sleep. This is a good policy to have. So I made sure to never slam any doors after this time..!! All the doors of the rooms have 'automatic door' closers fitted to the top of the doors, so you have to hold the handle to make sure the door doesn't bang, when closing. There were only 2 things that mattered. 1) light shines from the hallway, under the door. 2) in my room, which was 'compact & bijou' the end of the bed, prevented the bathroom door from either opening out properly and it would re-bound back off the bed and close
