"34 State is simply a gorgeous 18th century (?) home furnished and decorated with impeccable period style! Tasteful and elegant guest suites, great linens, wonderful help-yourself amenities in a thoughtfully stocked pantry. All of this steps away from the storybook lakefront village of Skaneateles. Just a delight for a weary traveler!"

"There were no services. Check in/ out is at a separate facility. I did not see another human during the 2 days I was there. "

"When I first got there the woman at the front desk was VERY rude with an attitude. It was dark all the way to finding your room. First thing I wanted was to take a nice hot shower after a day at the beach. Let it run for SEVERAL+ minutes and water was ice cold and didn’t even get warm. On our way down from the room we found a ROACH on the ground. Told the front desk lady and she was rude and acted as if she didn’t care. I will NEVER be booking there again and hope to receive my money back...

"EVERYTHING as described and more. Place was so clean you'd of thought we were the first guests. Hosts were very accessible via text during our stay. The construction of this tree house is amazing and detailed. The ability to sit at a fire even during rain was a plus and complete with barn owls calling in the distance at night. Minutes away from a small town with a great breakfast diner, but completely secluded in the woods. We just can't say enough about how cool this place is."

"We stayed here with 2 other couples for a weekend. The house was beautiful, beds were comfortable, everything we needed was there. It was very modern, so we did have a hard time figuring out the induction burners and microwave at first, but once we did, it was easy. The hot tub and pool table were a great addition to have! It’s also outside of the hustle and bustle, with a beautiful view, but close enough that it only took a few minutes to get to local restaurants. I’d highly recommend to anyone...

"We all had a wonderful stay at the home across a long weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The kitchen has plenty of space for many people to cook. Living room comfortably fit 12-18 people and the temperature was comfortable.Only thing to note was the piano was fairly out of tune and the trundle pull out was a bit dirty but otherwise everything was clean."

Really enjoyed my visit!

"My daughter and I stayed for three nights, Saturday through Monday. What a comfortable room, friendly employees, and great food! The bed and pillows were very comfortable; the room was clean, and the workers helpful. I usually stay at a competitor in the same area, but this time the prices were comparable so I tried Comfort Inn because a) it serves a hot breakfast with a variety of foods and b) the rooms were a bit larger and the beds were queen instead of doubles. I was not disappointed. Eggs, sausage, French toast sticks, waffles, yogurt, cold cereal, juices and other drinks, bakery goods--everything one can ask for in a hotel breakfast! The bathroom was clean. I love that the sink is outside the bathroom so others can use it while someone showers, etc. We were very happy overall! We travel to this area many times a year. Unfortunately in June I have to go back to the competitor, because the price difference cannot justify the expense; but I was sure glad we came this time!"
