"My wife and I stayed in the house with our dog for four nights. Our initial impression was how clean and well cared for the house was. It was also well equipped - several televisions, ample crockery, cutlery, glasses etc., washing machine and dishwasher.- and very comfortable. Access was very easy with the key from the keysafe. Outside there was spacious off-road parking and a good sized garden enjoyed by the dog. We did not need the garden shed but it did offer additional storage space for...

"This was our second Christmas spent at Andy’s cottage. Perfect size for the three of us. Kitchen has all of the essentials and is a lovely size looking out over the garden and fields. Shitterton is a lovely quiet hamlet with lovely period, thatched cottages.Most of our time was spent in the cosy, spacious living room with a fire roaring away. Pictures on site are accurate, we asked for the twin beds to be fixed together to create a larger space, such luxury! "I booked the cottage for family members visiting over Christmas and was delighted w my choice. The house itself is beautifully appointed and has been sympathetically extended. It was a pleasure to welcome my travel weary relatives into such a warm and restful space. Everything went smoothly from the minute I contacted the host through the cpl of amendments made and then the key pickup. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. "Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"
