"We immediately felt as if we were in our own home. The hosts were very from friendly, but respected our privacy and served us one of the best breakfast we’ve had in years.!! Host also provided detailed instructions on how to get to center of town, what attractions to see and which restaurants to use. Overall a fantastic stay we hope to revisit our next trip."

"Wonderfully quaint B&B in and old mill. Our room was right up in the roof space. Might not be suitabe for some as the stairs are very steep and windy, and our room had two low beams at face height, but it certainly had character and charm."

"Landlady made clear - repeatedly! - this was not a hotel and had double booked one of our two triple rooms. She did find another hotel for two of my guests, but that is not what we wanted! We wanted the group together! So not at all impressed with the organisation or the breakfast which was poor for 15 euro per person. "

"The hostess of this property was pleasant, easy to work with and always available, which was great. That said, the property was a disappointment. No where in the listing did it state that cats were part of the property. They roamed freely and we saw them on the counter in the kitchen which was disconcerting. "The property is down a lane in a very rural location about 2Kms outside Rance and it is about as tranquil and relaxing as you could imagine with just the distant baa ing of the sheep for company. The bedrooms and bathroom and toilet are downstairs with the living accommodation and patio upstairs which works very well. We absolutely loved it and were blessed with fine weather. To note the downstairs toilet is very compact."

"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. Comfortable and characterful hotel

"Lovely warm room on a cold night. Restaurant was excellent. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed and decent shower. Characterful ambiance. One way road system to get to the hotel was a bit of a nightmare as google maps showed the one way direction incorrectly. "

Convenient location for our needs!

"This location was very easy check in. We had a car rental and they have secure parking in the back for a small fee which worked for our stay. The room was clean and spacious which was a nice change since most rooms are small here in Europe. We did not use the breakfast option since we felt it was a bit pricey but opted to go to the market to buy some items. They had a small refrigerator and coffee pot with cream & sugar was nice. Overall our stay was great and may return again if in the area. "

Hotel Première Classe Maubeuge - Feignies

"Très bon séjour au 1 ère classe de Feignies, tout le personnel est au top, souriant, accueillant, se mélange bien avec les clients. Juste un petit soucis que j'avais déjà signalé dans un commentaire précédent, la Direction devrait fournir dans chaque chambre une brosse pour les toilettes, il est très désagréable pour une technicienne de surface de trouver du caca dans la cuvette des toilettes et c'est pour nous aussi très désagrèable de rendre des toilettes sales, donc pas le choix que de nettoyer la cuvette avec les mains mais ce n'est pas normal non plus d'en arriver là ! Alors la Direction vous n'avez pas de brosses chez vous pour vos toilettes personnelles ?? Un effort s'il vous plaît!!"
