If exploring nature and outdoor activities are your style, there are state parks, miles of trails to hike, bike, or paddle within minutes of this perfectly situated location.

This charming home has a fully equipped kitchen for at home meal preparations. Stock up on groceries and essentials at the Piggly Wiggly- just a minute away! If you're looking to take a break from kitchen duty, take advantage of the vast variety of food options within walking distance. Don't forget a Door County "must-do!" Visit Al Johnson's, just 2 blocks away, for a great breakfast and visit the goats on the roof!

The home sleeps 6 comfortably with a bedroom and full bathroom on the lower level and 2 separate sleeping areas with a full bath on the upper level, including a large open space, a perfect hang-out for kids or teens. A day bed is available if a bit more sleeping space is needed.
linens are provided for each guest. Don't forget to bring your beach towels and sand chairs for days in the sun and surf!

After a day of Door County adventure, come home to ease and privacy.

Amazing rental in Door County!
The house was beautiful, super clean, well stocked and was a perfect place for our group trip to Door County! Dennis and Joan were such kind hosts leaving lots of thoughtful notes, recommendations, and treats in the house! It was a lovely stay and we would highly recommend!!

Celebrating the 4th in Sister Bay
My family and look forward all year to our stay at this property. The owners think of everything, label everything and generally make our week-long stay a no-brainer. Fantastic location a mere half-block from the main drag through downtown Sister Bay. It’s perfect!

The house was amazing. Lot of updates and old world charm. Very clean and hosts very thoughtful they left an apple pie for us to enjoy. Also, very easy access to Sister Bay downtown so you can walk to places. We'd stay again.

We had a great stay at this property in Sister Bay, highly recommend!! Dennis and Joan made everything so easy and the house is in a perfect location. We walked to town and the beach everyday with our 2 little kids, and enjoyed the campfire with them at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place! Perfect spot to stay while visiting Door County area. Within walking distance to all the things to do in Sister Bay....which was nice! Fresh donuts and wine were on the table for us when we arrived.....a very nice surprise! Owners responded right away when we had a question. Thanks for letting us stay!

Peaceful house a short walk from Sister Bay Beach
Our family really enjoyed our stay in this lovely and very clean house. Dennis and Joan are amazing hosts! We enjoyed the activity of Sister Bay and the peacefulness of the house and yard; it’s rather amazing the two are separated by only a short walk. One favorite activity was sitting on the front porch watching a monarch flutter through the milkweed while our kids played games in the yard.

Beautiful home and thoughtful hosts
Loved everything about this house and the hosts were amazing! The home is beautiful and comfortable. Location is perfect. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Sister Bay but just far enough off the main road to escape from the hustle and bustle. From the moment you walk into the house, you will feel the personal touches from the hosts. A lovely welcome gift, local coffee, big fluffy towels in the bathrooms and well stocked amenities just to name a few. Would definitely stay here again!

Late summer getaway
This house was very enjoyable for our Door County getaway. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the home. The owners were very responsive and welcoming, including fun sand toys for our girls and all the goodies to have s’mores at the fire pit. The house was equipped with everything we needed and perfect location to walk to all in Sister Bay. We would definitely book this property in the future.

2nd Time in Door County
This was our second time visiting Door County! The first we stayed in a hotel, this trip we stayed at this beautiful home! The pics do not capture how awesome this house is! The location is the best! They have EVERYTHING you need! It’s pristine inside and out! The best is having coffee on the front porch watching and listening to the birds and calmness of the mornings! We hope to visit here again next year! Thank you again Joan and Dennis, ps the pie was an extra treat too!

Great property!
We had a wonderful stay in Door County. The house was impeccably clean, the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials, and there were even a few extra touches like makeup remover wipes, coffee for the coffee maker, games for the kids, and even a “welcome” gift. There are indoor eating areas, outdoor eating areas, rockers on the front porch, well working newer kitchen appliances, a fireplace in the living room, and a washer and dryer … laundry basket and detergent included. We had four adults and two children in our group, but the space could’ve accommodated another one or two adults on the living room pullout, and/or another adult or child on the futon in the upstairs area. Don’t hesitate to book, the property is great!

Perfect spot for a family Door County getaway
My husband and I rented from Joan and Dennis, along with our two small children and my in-laws, for a long weekend in Door County. I must say, going into it I was a bit nervous because they were renovating the property and we would be their first guests, but they thought of every single detail and have a wonderfully updated property with lots of character in a great location to all that Sister Bay has to offer. The setup of master bedroom downstairs and then second bedroom upstairs with loft/third open bedroom where our kids stayed worked really well for our group. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch, playing their lawn games, grilling and dinner on the deck and a bonfire outside one night. We walked only a couple blocks to downtown Sister Bay every day to the beach, park, outdoor concert, restaurants, marina for a sailboat cruise, ice cream and shopping. We would love to return again!

This place was perfect for us. Only a block from the main street of Sister Bay, and it was clean and comfortable. We had a minor problem at check in but the owner quickly responded and the rest of the trip was perfect. Big thumbs up.

This is our third time staying here with our family, it's starting to become a tradition with the kids. As in the past, everything was perfect and comfortable. The house is great for kids and even larger groups. The location is perfect, a 5 min walk to the main street in Sister Bay and has everything you need for a multi-day visit. The hosts are so thoughtful and welcoming and we really feel like we're at home when we stay here. Will absolutely book again and look forward to doing so!
