Lakewood Lodge represents the epitome of peacefulness. Tucked away in the woods of northern Door County, this charming home is secluded on five (5) private acres with no neighbors in sight. The idyllic escape for those seeking a quiet getaway, Lakewood Lodge offers guests access to modern amenities right alongside its unique and historic architecture.

The chalet style architecture and walls of windows create a level of attraction for Lakewood Lodge, but the privacy and serenity of this unforgettable dog-friendly property gives the property its spirit and leaves guests feeling refreshed and revitalized.

☆ BEDROOMS ☆

The primary bedroom brings peaceful serenity with a comfortable queen bed, big bay windows overlooking the tranquil woods, two nightstands with bedside lamps, 65” inch SmartTV and ample drawer space for you to use during your stay. The primary bedroom features its own balcony overlooking the wooded backyard and an en suite bath with walk-in shower and a jacuzzi whirlpool tub.

On the other end of the second floor is a second bedroom offering both a queen bed and a full bed, a 65” SmartTV, private balcony overlooking the woods and ample closet space for guests to use during their stay. The second bedroom features a spacious en suite bath with a walk-in shower.

Finally, the third bedroom is on the first floor and features a queen size bed, perfect for guests who are early risers. The third bedroom features two nightstands, a closet and a locked patio-door that overlooks the woods and pond.

☆ BATHROOMS ☆

There are three bathrooms spread throughout the home. The primary bathroom offers a full shower, jacuzzi tub, single-sink vanity with ample counter space, and plenty of luxury hotel grade towels. Both of the bathrooms upstairs have large bay windows overlooking the serene and private woods.

The second and third bathrooms include spacious walk-in showers, single vanity and ample drawer space.

All bathrooms will pamper you with complimentary toiletries including all the essentials like hand and body soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

The Sister Bay food scene is a mere short car ride away, but on days when you want to cook at home, the open-concept kitchen has everything you need to create memorable home cooked meals. This includes expansive counter space, a large sink, dishwasher and kitchen appliances like an oven/stove, microwave, toaster and a 12-cup coffee pot. The kitchen is fully-stocked featuring plates, cups, cooking utensils, baking sheets, mixing bowls and much more.

The kitchen is perfect for entertaining in comfort featuring a fireplace, large kitchen table and big lounge chairs situated along the big bay window.

Additionally, our three season sunroom provides a peaceful, screened retreat with soft seating and a stone wood-burning fireplace, inviting you to relax and curl up with a good book while basking in the serenity the outdoors bring.

The living room offers large, chalet style bay windows along with comfortable seating to sit back and enjoy a family movie night while overlooking the woods and pond.

☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆

The home sits on five acres of woods on the outskirts of Sister Bay. This quiet, secluded peaceful getaway includes a small, shallow pond surrounded by ferns, pines and birch trees that allow you to immerse yourself in the serenity of nature. The expansive back deck and fire pit create an outdoor ambience you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

Back Deck: Step onto the back deck, a secluded oasis nestled amongst the trees, providing a serene setting for leisurely conversations while lounging in Adirondack chairs. The gas grill is available for all guests to use to create a special backyard barbeque experience.

Fire Pit: Gather around our brand-new fire pit, where the crackling flames illuminate the night sky, as you sink into the comfort of Adirondack chairs, embracing the tranquility and magic of the stars above. Indulge in unforgettable moments of warmth, relaxation, and stargazing in this perfect outdoor setting.

OTHER PROPERTY DETAILS

The home is a seven minute drive east of downtown Sister Bay and is located on a quiet road directly off County Road ZZ. The house is accessible and is located far off the main road; therefore, we’re confident it won’t hinder your stay. Additionally, while our home is just east of Sister Bay and not far from downtown Sister Bay’s main attractions, walking into town is not simple as County Road ZZ is a busy road with small shoulders and no sidewalks or bike paths. We recommend that guests be prepared to drive to and from our home as that’s the best means of transportation to and from the house.

After requesting your reservation, you will receive a notification and link to complete our Rental Agreement, confirming the terms and conditions of your stay at Lakewood Lodge, as well as the refundable security deposit, which you will be able to execute and set up digitally when reviewing the Rental Agreement.

Lakewood Lodge does have two external cameras that record 24/7. These cameras monitor the driveway as well as the fire pit to ensure positive neighbor relations and guest experiences.
