"We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during mid-June and the pool filter was broken such that the pool was unusable during our entire stay. For a remote place with limited amenities in the immediate area this was very limiting and certainly detracted from the experience that it should have been. The staff was gracious and did compensate by providing us a free spa usage which was a welcome experience. In addition, the meals we had during our stay at the facility were excellent."

"This lovely villa is set in a bucolic neighborhood just a few miles outside of Parma. Elena, the owner and host has made sure each guest is welcomed and pampered with a wonderful breakfast each morning, and ideas and arrangements regarding special culinary tours of the area, or trips to nearby Bologna and Modena. All her staff is as equally charming and engaging as Elena and we missed them all the minute we left. Special bonus, Zoe, the cutest little cocker spaniel ever!"

"Thoughtful host who provided a map with suggestions for drinks and food both in local area of Sala Baganza and also on Parma. Very tastefully modernized and very clean farmhouse. Good sized rooms and bathroom with quality amenities. Very quiet and new air-conditioning. Breakfast area on patio very pleasant. Patio also has multiple cozy sofas. Will definitely try to stay again on next visit."

"Wir sind nach Italien für die Ferien gefahren, und haben in "nel borgo Scipione" nur eine Nacht mit unsern 2 Kindern (2 und 4 jährige) geblieben. "I rented a 4 room apt at this location and was completely satisfied. Very clean except the shower had some mold.Kitchen had dishes and utensles for 4 people,including a cheese grater and corkscrew. "I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great.
