"It's well located near gorgeous villages, and the garden is beautiful. We had a lovely meal in the garden as the sun set - the exterior of the house is very atmospheric. However, the interior is in desperate need of modernising. The kitchen is rather make-shift and poorly equipped, and the bathroom is tired. With a bit of thought put in (new kitchen/bathroom) and a good clean, the property could be amazing. But for us the big problem was the steep stairs and unsafe rail at the top of the stairs...

"Cadre agréable, calme, vacances reposantes, piscine raffraichissante. Propriétaires accueillants et discrets. Seul bémol, la location ne comporte pas deux chambres comme écrit dans l'annonce. Les couchages enfants sont dans l'espace salle à manger/cuisine et le couchage pour les adultes se trouve dans une pièce attenante séparée d'une cloison seulement au 3/4. Même si nous avons maqué d'intimité, nous avons passé un séjour agréable."

"Quiet location - except for one night with noisy neighbours! Good area for cycling and lots of nice picnic areas by watet. Good for walking. House well appointed and the downstairs in particular was COOL. Much appreciated when the temp got to 39C! Owners next door and very helpful. Thoroughly recommend."

"We had the most wonderful relaxing stay! The house is beautiful. It’s been put together really nicely inside and the kitchen is particularly nice and well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere where the owners clearly care about the quality of the interior and the overall guest experience. Lovely pool and outside eating area - plenty of room for all guests. Large garden and table tennis. The area is rural and peaceful, with activities such as kayaking within a 20 min drive. A special thanks to Alice and her friends for their warm hospitality. The hosts were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our dog Ziggy, also had a wonderful time exploring the estate and enjoying the beautiful park. Additionally, the Gardner was lovely and very helpful too, adding to the overall charm...
