Luxurious Mansion in Sint-Laureins near Forest

In the midst of all the creeks you will find this beautifully furnished country house. Ideal for holidays with the family and children less than four.

The surroundings offer beautiful walking and cycling routes, among others in Het Zwin nature park. The landscape in Sint Laureins is characterised by vast polders, dikes, quiet creeks and rustling poplars along the canals. The unique creek area was created by numerous floods. There are many picturesque villages in the area and the beaches, for example in Cadzand and Knokke, are just a stone's throw away. Don't forget to visit the historic city of Bruges. For a relaxing day, you can visit Spa Leeghof and you can have a nice dinner at Restaurant Warande or Restaurant Polderzicht.

On cold days, you can enjoy dinner by the fireplace. In the cosy lounge you can read a good book and on warm summer evenings you can enjoy the sounds of nature in the garden, with a Belgian beer of course.

Wonderful house in a rural quiet area. Great location for day trips to Bruges, Ghent and exploring the beaches and the coastline at the North Sea. The house itself is big, large windows with plenty of light, modern and cozy atmosphere, stylish and very clean. We had a perfect stay (four adults and two 10 year old kids)

Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten lockt mit unterschiedlichen Sitzplätzen. Die Lage am Kanal ist sehr schön. Der Gastgeber war ebenso zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit wie zurückhaltend. Eine absolute Empfehlung insbesondere für Erwachsene, die Ruhe lieben.

What an amazing place to stay!
We had a fantastic few days in the house. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and a thorough tour around the property. The owners were very friendly and were able to talk to us in English, which was much appreciated! The house itself is as much as anyone could wish for. It is warm, well appointed and we felt instantly at home. The house is a short drive from local town, in which, you could find all of the essentials for a short stay. We spent a few days touring the coast and small towns in the area and spent our evenings curled up in the comfort of the various living spaces. Our kids particularly enjoyed having their own bathrooms and private space. We very much hope to return to the property for a longer stay later in the year. I thoroughly recommend the house as a place to escape to.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Umgebung,tolle Schlafzimmer (perfekte Betten)mit je einem eigenen Bad,durchdachte Aufteilung der Räume,sehr hell und rundum Fenster mit herlichem Ausblick.Der Kicker im Weinkeller ein unverhofftes Highlight! Unbedingt Tischtennisschläger mitbringen,moderne klappbare Platte,in einem tollen gepflegten Garten,der nur für uns zugänglich war.Idyllischer Blick auf die anschließende Schafwiese.Ein tolles Haus,schöner noch,als auf den Bildern im Internet. Einzig,der Herd hätte etwas sauberer sein können und am Mülleimer waren Ameisen.

De derde slaapkamer heeft een groot raam met een weids uitzicht over het kanaal en de velden maar helaas geen vliegenraam. Voor ons een topvakantiewoning en aanrader.

Wij waren met 6 volwassenen in het ruime huis , 3 ruime slaapkamers met eigen badkamer wat wel zo prettig is. Ondanks het slechte weer hebben we toch genoten van de omgeving en Brugge is dichtbij een aanrader om daar heen te gaan.

Großzügiges, geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Aus jedem Fenster eine schöne Aussicht auf die weite Landschaft mit Kanälen und Bäumen. Sehr ruhige Lage direkt am Kanal mit Anschluss an Fahrrad- und Wanderwege, ideal für Fahrradtouren. Gent, Brügge, Sluis und die Küste in ca. 30 km Umkreis. Angenehme, freundliche Vermieter.

Great vacation rental property!
My husband and I are travelling across Europe from USA and staying in vacation rental homes. This is the nicest home we have stayed in on our trip. This home had plenty of room for us with three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms with one having a luxurious soaking tub. The home is located in the country by biking/walking paths along the canals. The home was modern with what appeared to me a new build or remodel. Very well kept and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings. It was a good location for day trips to Brugge, Ghent and the countryside. The home owners were very friendly, helpful and nice people. We would return to this rental property in the future if our travels take us back to Belgium.

Tranquility
The home was beautiful and the surrounding area is very tranquil. It is 35 minutes to Brugges and Ghent and 1 hour to Antwerp. Our hosts brought us fresh eggs and we all enjoyed their kitty named Minou. This is a must stop for any travelers going to Belgium! Nancy Rose

De ontvangst was prima, te meer omdat er door omstandigheden een mogelijkheid was een uurtje eerder de woning te betrekken. Eigenares is zeer zuinig op haar interieur en dat is logisch met zoveel prachtige materialen. De accommodatie was geweldig. Een huis dat zit als een lekkere jas om je heen. Heerlijk genoten van alle luxe en ruimte in deze heel sfeervol ingerichte boerderijwoning. Door het slechte weer hebben we de directe omgeving niet echt kunnen bekijken. Ongetwijfeld is het hier prachtig als het weer wat meer toelaat. Zeker rondom de kreken die daar op steenworpafstand van verwijderd zijn. We komen nog eens terug om te fietsen in de streek. Dagje Brugge en Gent of Sluis is prima te doen. Culinair is de streek goed vertegenwoordigd. De Roste Muis op 2,5 km serveert heerlijke paling uit de streek. Kortom voor ons een dikke tien!

Incredible!
Simply put, this is the most beautiful, tasteful, comfortable home we have ever stayed in. The hosts are beyond words - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and more. The home demonstrates superb decoration and comfort. The area is stunningly beautiful with walking paths everywhere. Could not have been happier and will for sure return - this is quite a special place!

We (grandparents, parents and 6yr old child) had an amazing time! The owners were fantastic and were very welcoming. The property is beautiful and well cared for, as shown in the photographs. It's in a very peaceful location but easy to get to towns and cities in the area. Highly recommend staying here - we shall certainly be returning!
