"We enjoyed a very lovely stay for the carabao cup celebrations, staff and hotel were all perfect, as was the use of the robot room service which was the cherry on top for my 6 year old son. I would have given a 5 star review but have been left with a sour taste in my mouth on departure, as we were informed the hotel no longer offers discounts on parking despite both the carpark signage and the Maldron hotels website both stating it does, just feel very misled."

"Generally Motel one is great but this time we were in a disabled access room ( no idea why as we didn’t need or request it) The whole of bathroom floor was soaked after using the shower which didn’t drain well, the carpet in the bedroom looked as though a dog had been in there! So overall we weren’t pleased with our room. The bed was clean and comfortable."

"Hotel was fine but I d say more suited to friends coming to Newcastle on a night out. This was our experience staying on a Saturday night. It was noisy for most of the night groups of friends coming back from pubs and clubs, singing, shouting and carrying on their night back in their rooms. "Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Quiet area but short drive to lots of lovely places. Breakfast had a good choice. Like a lot of buffets the food could have been hotter. We managed to use the pool and hot tub on 2 occasions, you just have to keep checking for a quiet time. The pool area around the hot tub has some signs of slight mould.
