"My favorite lodge during my 3 wk Tanzania trip. 3-day stay to unwind after Kili climb and safari. Loved it! Very personalable and local vibe; not touristy or pretentious. Central and quiet location <1 hr from airport makes a great home base for safaris, Arusha Natl Park, or Kilimanjaro climb. Comfortable, clean, rooms, though I spent most of my time relaxing outdoors on the grounds, where there were plenty of spots to read, write, and watch the animals in the nearby "watering hole".
