"We stayed for two nights with our family of five plus one ridiculous dog, opting to get acquainted with the college town after the scheduled events on campus. It was so nice to have a place to come back and rest and make some of our meals which made it more comfortable and affordable than a couple of hotel rooms would have been. "Very clean, quiet and peaceful. Little creek runs begind the house, sound of flowing water is soothing. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need. "

"Awesome room to shoot pool. The house is great with everything we needed. Great back porch, and we even had breakfast on the front porch, too. The property is quiet and relaxing and a pretty view out back. Quick 10-20 minute drive to Rock Island state park, depending on which side of the river you want to be on. Great stay, would love to stay again."

"We enjoyed the layout of the cabin, and the proximity to the outdoor activities and State Parks surrounding the area. The maintenance team was prompt and courteous in repairing the TV's, dryer and front door lock when needed. Overall it was an excellent choice for our family of 15. Cheers"

"I will just add that is important to have a car equipped to handle dirt roads with hills. We had a hard time taking our minivan out. But overall the place was just beautiful and for sure I will return again. "
