Lovely home, beautifully decorated
This home was conveniently located, just off the main street in the central historic city area. We had a nice and comfortable stay. I would stay at this location again during a future visit to Silver City.

The house fit 2 couples well with each couple having a bedroom and a bathroom. The downtown is only a block away. We would stay there again.

Great Location & Super Clean
The location of the house is literally off the main block, couldn’t be more convenient! Host is super responsive and easy…not ‘in our business’ at all, which optimal. This house was a perfect place to stay. I would not absolutely recommend staying here.

The property was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It is located right downtown with easy walking access to everything the downtown has to offer. The pictures don’t do it justice. I would definitely stay here again!

NEVER pick another home. ALWAYS stay at this one and you will be gald you did.
We have been staying at the Teacher House almost everytime we come up to Silver City. This is absolutely our 1st choice abd will only go somewhere else if this home is not available during our time slot. Right in the historic downtown area and very close to WNMU.

Revisiting Silver City after coming 6 months ago! Did Cliff Dwellings hike and serious shopping this go around! This location and place made it so nice and easy for our pleasant stay!!!

We loved staying at this house. Right in the heart of downtown and a historical house built in the late 1800's. So cute and happy inside. The house was spotless and everything we needed was there. Nice little yard for our dog too. I would definetly stay there again.

Great place. Great locations in downtown Silver City
The improvements to the house were great. You can tell it is an old house but theyve done great tthings to it. It was a bit cold downstairs, we stayed in the winter, but otherwise it was a great place.

Wonderful Stay at The Teachers Cottage
I would highly recommend The Teacher's Cottage. It is in a great location in a sweet little neighborhood right downtown. The house was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. We also loved all the charm of staying in a historic home. Our French Bulldog loved the fenced yard. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Silver City.

Great location!
This listing was a total 10/10. You’re a block away from the Main Street and all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Great yard for enjoying the nice weather and the house has everything you could need for your stay. My only note is that if you are tall watch your head when going upstairs, and the shower upstairs might be tight for you. Other than that can’t wait to come back again.

Close to downtown
The cottage was charming and had everything we needed. Love all the antiques and old pictures of teacher and students. It was close to downtown like we wanted. My only complaint was the noise outside from really loud cars and motorcycles late into the night on Friday and Saturday. Maybe some upgraded windows glass might help. I realize the owners can’t control “cruising “ on Main Street however.

Pleasant surprise
First of all, the photos on VRBO do not do justice to this property. It has the charm of a historic home with modern amenities. It was clean, well equipped, with wonderful bathrooms. High quality towels and a lot of little extras made this stay a memorable one. Great location! A big “Thank you” to the property manager/ owner.

Downtown Get Away
Excellent location in Silver City. Close to bakery, Food Co-Op, Big Ditch Park for dog walking and all the sights. Minutes away from hiking trails. Clean, organized, vintage with modern amenities. WiFi worked well. Nice yard. Lovely cottage. We will be back. The shower upstairs is challenging for tall guests but the downstairs shower has plenty of head room and great water pressure.
