"Obidos is a very touristic and beautiful walled village. Staying overnight allows you to fully appreciate the area without all of the crowds and tour buses. The hotel is located a simple short walk from the information area but do not try to carry much luggage as it is over small stoned walkways. The hotel and personnel were wonderful and included a nice breakfast."

"The rooms in the castle are small and quaint, but, hey, you’re staying in a castle! It’s magical! The staff is great both in the hotel and dining room. The food in the restaurant is terrific! "

"This place was charming and the backyard was so peaceful and beautiful. We only stayed for one night (our last night before catching our plane leaving Portugal). The rooms are on the cozy size but the huge backyard patio and garden with chickens and two friendly cat more than entertained our 7 year old. Breakfast was served early and VERY delicious and varied. They were able to accommodate one of our travel companions who is gluten free. Communication with the property easy with quick responses."
