"A really fantastic house and host. Everything you need for lots of fun, a fab kitchen, terrace, garden, bbq and great rooms. We were 4 families with kids between 6 months and 9 years and came in August and it was perfect. Emma was a fantastic host, especially great on communicating with us all the way through and i'd absolutely recommend anyone to stay!"

"La casa está muy bien y la ubicación te permite visitar sitios por los alrededores muy bonitos. El único pero que le pongo y que tendría que mejorar, es el tema de la calefacción. Si que tiene calefacción eléctrica y funciona bien, pero en algunas partes hay grandes contrastes de temperatura, sobre todo en la cocina. Pero por lo general, todo muy bien."

"This is a fantastic place to stay if visiting Santillana Del Mar or this region- very centrally located and easy access to all destinations. The house is very clean and has everything you need to cook for your group and a nice fireplace, which was a bonus because it was chilly when we visited. The town of Viernoles doesn't have much to offer, so not great for walking, but if you are driving, stores and shops are nearby. "We hebben een week met onze 2 jongens doorgebracht in het huis en we hadden ruime keus uit slaapplaatsen. Het meest fijne van het huis is het overdekte terras omdat het weer ook in de zomer niet altijd optimaal is. Verder is de ligging perfect voor uitstapjes naar de kust, de bergen (incl Picos de Europa) en steden ( Santander, Bilbao, etc. )."

"Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador. Can fully recommend Santillana."

Lovely 15th century mansion

"This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced."
