"What an amazing place. Unassuming from the outside, apart from being the oldest building in Ulverston. It is wonderful and cosy, inside with modern sympathetic decoration. "Lovely BnB. Darren couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. The room was clean, bed was huge and very comfy. Shower was lovely and the breakfast was very very good. The village is so beautiful and only a short drive from Ambleside. We stayed 2 nights, but after arriving very late and leaving early we only had 1 day to see as much as possible and Darren gave us great recommendations. I loved my stay here."

"Had the actual pub been open and operational, the stay might have been better. It is running on a shoestring and with only 3 rooms available the breakfast selection was very limited. Continental breakfast only but very little choice. The accommodation is in a hamlet with no facilities, so we had to make sure that we had a meal before we returned for the night."

Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...
