Waterfront hideaway on Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida

The Lagoon House is a newly furnished and decorated two bedroom two bath home with a pull-out couch in the living room to sleep six comfortably. Located on a large wooded property, the house features a private dock on beautiful Heron Lagoon. The Lagoon is a two mile long closed body of salt water accessible only to homes which front the shoreline, making it private, tranquil, and ideal for swimming, fishing and kayaking. The shore is lined with magnificent stands of mangrove which provide nesting areas for a wide variety of tropical bird life for your viewing enjoyment.

The home features a large screened patio with a pool only three steps from the master bedroom. The living room and master bedroom face the lagoon and offer sweeping views of the water through large sliding glass doors which, when open, let you bring the outdoors into the home.

The master suite features a queen size bed and master bath with walk-in shower and a large bathtub. Two sinks provide plenty of room for everyone. The walk-in closet is enormous.

The second bedroom features two twin beds which can be combined to make a king size upon request at booking.

Free trolley service with pick up and drop off on demand at the end of the driveway from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM provides easy access to all beaches, restaurants, bars and attractions on Siesta Key without the hassles of driving and parking.

The feel of the house is open, airy, tropical, elegant, peaceful and very very private.

The kitchen features late model appliances including full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, full size stove, primary sink with garbage disposal and prep sink on the center island. A full complement of plates, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, knives and utensils are provided.

Other amenities include flat screen TV, Cable, wifi, stereo with Bluetooth capability, and DVD (blu-ray).

The bookshelves are lined with books and DVDs.

Linens are top quality and include sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels and beach towels. All beds are new and chosen for comfort.

Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom.

Great getaway!
If location is key for you then look no further. Everything on Siesta Keys is at an arms length away with all of Sarasota ‘s major attractions only 15 minutes away. Great stay would book again.

This is a wonderful house in a great location for visiting the Siesta Key area. Beach, restaurants, shopping and activities are all close by. The house has a great view of the lagoon, mangroves and garden. The backyard, dock and pool are very private. Owner is great to work with and we would stay here again.

My birthday relaxation
I took this trip to relax, celebrate my birthday and spend some time with my oldest and dearest friends. The Lagoon house could not have been any better for just that!!! We sat out on the dock most evenings and enjoyed the tranquility. The yard and pool deck also gave us a sense of privacy and peacefulness. The home was well equipped and had absolutely everything we needed to cook some great meals. I highly recommend this home and would be happy to go back again!!!

I couldn’t say enough about this fabulous accommodation. The ambience and tranquility was more than amazing. We all enjoyed every minute of our stay in this wonderful lagoon cottage on siesta key! The host of the wonderful job setting up the accommodations. We cooked we played cards we swim in the pool. We sat on the dock and fished. We took beautiful photos in her lush gardens of ferns and tropical plants. I highly recommend Tammy’s home for anyone who wants to enjoy siesta key.

We loved the Lagoon House!
We stayed at the Lagoon House for Spring break and could not have been happier. Check in was a breeze, the house had everything we needed for our beach getaway, and the hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had. The house is positioned closer to Turtle beach, and we took advantage of that to visit both beaches on Siesta Key. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Family New Year holiday
The house was perfect for our needs. We didn’t have the best weather so didn’t get much chance to use the pool but spent plenty of time fishing off the jetty. The bikes were a great asset and we used them several times. It was great to have enough dishwashing supplies and bin bags, small things that made a difference.

This home was beautiful and peaceful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Just a three minute drive to turtle beach to walk and look for shells in the morning💛 Less than a 10 minute drive to siesta key beach and all of the fun hotspots.My husband enjoyed a little fishing off the back deck❤️ He was super excited to find fishing supplies in the garage.We LOVED our stay!!! We will be back next year for a longer stay😊

Relaxing Retreat
The tropical vegetation of this property makes it a hideaway retreat. A very quiet, peaceful, and private property to relax and rejuvinate. Minutes away from the beautiful Siesta beach and Siesta Village shops and restaurants. Communication with the owner was excellent and property description and pictures were as described. We stayed 3 nights in this delightful property and wish it could have been longer. The home is just perfect, in a good location for the beaches and Siesta Key bars and eateries but very quiet despite being on the main road. Loved the unique style old Florida style of the property with very comfortable furnishings and spent most of our time sitting reading by canal or pool.

The best trip to Siesta Keys
This house and location is perfect! I could not have asked for a better place to stay. This was our first trip to Siesta Keys and we will definitely be back and will stay at this house! Everything was within a few minutes drive and the house was perfect. The back deck was so relaxing and we enjoyed our morning coffee sitting watching fish jump!

House is very nice! Surrounding grounds could use some work but potentially could be made beautiful. Pool area needs a little updating and lovely waterfall in pool corner does not work.
