Early Summer Siesta
Vacationing on the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key has become an annual event for my sister and friend. This condo was by far our favorite place we've stayed. Beautiful partial ocean views from the unit in the tower. The unit has been beautifully updated. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The host responded to questions promptly. We were also impressed with the Palm Bay Club beaches, staff, and amenities. We will be returning!

Furniture was in great condition and comfortable. All of the staff from the Palm Bay Club are excellent to deal with and friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Palm Bay Club's proximity to the beach is excellent. This unit is immediately above the first floor main entrance and can be loud at times, especially in the morning when people are checking out or getting started with the day. There was also a lack of communication regarding some elevator and/or a/c repairs which required service people coming into the unit and turning off the a/c unit. This work seems to have led to an a/c unit that faltered and required repair the following day (but not after a rather warm and bad night of sleep).

Family Vacay at Siesta Key

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay in Condo 27. The pictures are an accurate representation of the unit. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. It was very bright and sunny which is a big bonus to me. I will say the partial ocean view is very much that...a partial view. Most of the view is of the driveway/parking area. This didn't bother us since we don't spend too much time in the unit. other family members had a full ocean view-which was beautiful. If that is truly what you want, this is not your unit. The condo comes with the basics to make basic meals-which was also fine with us. We do not throw down large meals while on vacation. My only negative comment would be the unit is on the 2nd floor, near the driveway and front entrance. It is a bit noisy as people drop off/unload cars or come home from going out all night. Again, it didn't bother us too much, but we may consider a unit higher up if we stayed here again. The pools are basic and are very spread out across the property. It is a bit of a walk if you have kids that like to go back and forth between the pools and beach through out the day. We go for the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, so the pool situation wasn't a big thing to us. Overall, coming from a self proclaimed vacation snob, it was a nicely decorated and clean rental. I would definitely recommend this unit again, as long as the renters are ok with a little noise on occasion and very partial view.

Palm Bay Club review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful location for a vacation. We could see the beach from our unit and the sand and water are just gorgeous. You were about a mile to 2 miles away from just about everything in either direction. There is a free shuttle that you can use and downtown siesta key is adorable with lots to do. There is not a lot of things to do for young teens it is very much a low-key type of vacation. The bathrooms and bedrooms in the unit were a bit dated and could be overhauled but it was very clean and I would stay there again. The pools are on the small side and there is one in the middle and one on the bay. The larger pool in the middle is not used very much because it’s far enough away from the shore that it doesn’t get the breezes and is very hot during the day. We had friends that stayed in a unit on the golf side I do not recommend because it is a pain to walk across and clear down to the shore. In addition there are no public restrooms on the property so if you need to use a bathroom you have to go back to your unit . Overall I would recommend the property but I would reserve early and try to get ocean front!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If the beach is for you, this property is for you! We had beautiful views and a few steps from the front door your feet were in the sand. The room was spacious and clean, there was noise being so close to the front entrance from people coming and going especially leaving for flights at 5am closing car doors over and over kind of thing. But that said the location is very convenient. The pool is a walk, and the other bay side pool is across a busy street. The one downfall is that unlike a resort there is no restaurant on property, small store is accessible if you have a golf cart, but it’s a drive to Publix. (We were there during spring break and restaurants were all completely full so plan ahead)

Unit is nice/bright. 5 pages of "Rules to live by" is overkill. I understand some guests may be problematic, but not everyone is uncivilized, especially for guests who have been coming 12+ years. Front office is helpful with basic needs. Anything beyond I get the feeling they do not really care, but they'll say "sorry" with a smile. Last few years units aren't as clean as they used to be. Kitchen cabinets needed wiped down & the bathroom floor. Every TV worked differently & none were simple- no instructions in the condo. Prices have gone up considerably & every year there are fewer amenities. Weekly cleaning disappeared a few years ago, no starter paper towels now, only gave us (4 guests) 2 keys, used to get 3. Not even the little pad of paper/pen. Used to get a laundry card with first load on the card. We choose to live w/o smartphones, which Palm Bay punishes you for. We were told we would have to buy the card for $5 (but I'd get to keep it, oh yea!) so first load of laundry would cost $10 after paying for wash/dry. A couple days they ran out of beach chairs. Found out they rented way less than usual for the season. Before 2020 Palm Bay used to be worth the price, but considering the price hike in recent years, I hate to say, I'm not seeing the value for the $.

Nice Unit - Conveniently Located Near the Beach

It has been recently remodeled and has plenty of storage etc. Most importantly, the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are small, but they have done the best they can with the limited size. I would recommend this place. The bay pool is nice and the beach is beautiful! To the owners - I would recommend two small changes. A light on the balcony would be very helpful. The towel situation at Palm Bay is not ideal. They do not replace towels more than once a week so they are a bit unsanitary which is surprising and unhealthy. The owners can't change this unhealthy policy, but they could help by putting up beach towel hooks in the hallway and/or on the balcony so they could at least be aired out.
