Gteat stay - highly recommend!
Highly recommend! The staff here go out of their way to help and aim to please! The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery making it feel like an oasis in the middle of the city. Rooms are huge and clesn with lots of little touches - door snake to prevent any small insects, robes, safe, toiletries, etc. The hotel provides laundry service, transportation and tour booking - all of whic we used and were very happy with how easy they made everything. The pool is lovely- complete with outdoor shower and sun hats for guests to use. The breakfast included was AMAZING - your own french press of REAL coffee (not instant!), juice, fruit, toast and your choice of 4 items - so tasty! If you are doing sunrise at Angkor Wat they will pack fruit and banana bread for you to take with you. The cocktails and food at the on-site restaurant were delicious - highly recommend. We ordered several timss and were never disappointed. They put a lot of effort into the drinks and food so with that said, they do take time to prepare - be patient and know it is worth the wait! We so appreciated all of the small touches to enhance guest experience and the value for your money is incredible at this property!!

This place deserves 6 stars!!
Phenomenal service and hospitality. Everyone at this lovely getaway hotel is eager to make your stay memorable. 2 particular positives stand out - 1) we asked if our leftover dinner could be reheated in a microwave; they went above and beyond and actually properly re-cooked the food before serving it with their bowls, cutleries, and gave us free rice! 2) upon learning that it was our anniversary, they decorated our room beautifully and also gave us a free voucher to pottery class!

I cant say enough about this property or the staff. I feel so fortunate to have found it. It is beautifully designed down to the last thoughtful detail. The staff are sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. It is quiet and off the beaten path while still conveniently located. The food is so good, I didnt bother to go anywhere else. The owners live on site which always makes a difference. They are warm and welcoming and very helpful. My only regret is that I couldnt stay longer.

Beautiful property with excellent service. The food was great and the boutique hotel even had the convenience of a tuk tuk. We were able to ride to the night Market and were also driven to the airport.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel in Siem Reap
Our stay at the Santa Clara Boutique Hotel was absolutely fabulous! This small hotel is set away from the main roads and it has such a peaceful atmosphere, which makes for a nice contrast to the noise and hectic of the old quarter of Siem Reap and the throngs of tourists at the temples. The grounds are gorgeous with fruit trees and flowers, and the pool is beautiful and kept immaculately clean. But what makes this place so special is the amazingly attentive owners, who are from Australia, and extremely friendly staff! They were so helpful in explaining the local culture and helping us coordinate trips, dinner reservations, a fantastic personal guide for Angkor Wat, and even gave us great tips for our subsequent trip to Vietnam. The air conditioned room was spacious and the modern cement floors are a nice touch to help keep the room cooler in Cambodia’s hot humid climate. The breakfast was also delicious - in addition to the fresh fruit and toast with homemade jam that they serve regardless of what you order, we loved their homemade muesli and locally made yogurt. We highly recommend this wonderful gem of a hotel!

Beautiful boutique hotel with personal treatment!
This is undoubtedly THE secret oasis of Siem Reap. It's a wonderful, relaxing location within a beautiful environment. The place is only outdone by its staff and its owners, who absolutely cannot do enough for you. Previously from Australia, the owners love Cambodia and will share their knowledge and care about you personally. You can even contact them prior to your stay for fantastic guidance.

Clean, Relaxing and very tasty breakfast!
This hotel was very charming. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very tasty, they used fresh fruits grown right on the property. I also had an opportunity to try out some appetizers by the pool, the tempura vegetables were great. If your looking for a place that is quiet, clean and comfortable with great hospitality this place is an excellent choice.

We loved our stay at Santa Clara Hotel!
The owners and staff welcomed us with a thirst quenching drink and were very friendly. Loved the French press coffee in the room and the generous, delicious breakfast served each morning. The French press coffee at breakfast was an extra special treat, as the hotels we stayed at previously only had freeze dried coffee. The staff spoke English pretty well and loved to speak with us about our travels. The hotel had a wonderful salt water swimming pool. The bar drinks were tasty and the ice filtered. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is a little further away from Pub Street and only a 5 minute tuk tuk away. We will definitely go back again some day!

Stay Here and Enhance your Siem Reap Experience!
The amazing customer service started at the point I made the booking with Mary from Santa Clara contacting me to ask if there was anything I wanted to do, that they could support me with. I put myself in their hands for booking airport transfers, tuktuks for the temple tours in Angkor, and for the guides, and I am so glad I did. Their tuktuk driver was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and patient. I couldn't have asked for better. The guide they booked for me was the same, and it really enhanced my experience of the Angkor complex, as it is large and overwhelming, so the tours they recommended were a perfect way to see it. On the hotel front, it is a beautiful boutique hotel, which makes it stand out head and shoulders above the competition in Siem Reap, as the majority of hotels are coach 'em in, coach 'em out and soulless. That said, Santa Clara would stand out anywhere, just from the welcome, the perfect hosting, the friendliness of all the staff and I just loved it. The rooms are large and contemporary and really comfortable, the pool area is beautiful, with carefully tended flowers and plants. The breakfast was stunning, and on the day I did sunrise (at a smaller temple, highly recommended!) I got a perfectly packed breakfast to take with me at 5:00 AM! Nothing was too much trouble, and Mary and Lesley made me feel like I was visiting family. Please, please, please stay here when you go to Siem Reap, you will love it.

Excellent hotel!
Staying at the Santa Clara hotel took our Siem Reap experience to the next level. The premises were beautiful, clean, and surrounded by trees that gave the hotel a private and quiet feel. Our room was big and cool, with an amazingly comfortable bed and a ginormous shower :) The décor and design were also very modern and tasteful. A huge plus here was the pool and restaurant, which after a long day of sightseeing were perfect for relaxing. The best things about this hotel was the staff, including the owners, who were all super friendly, attentive, and helpful from the moment we arrived. They provided tips on where to go around the city, as well as information on activities, and even helped us book a day trip to Kbal Spean. They arranged transportation to everywhere we went, and gave us a details on how to get back. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Peaceful,small hotel with gracious staff.
The owners, Leslie and Mary, are the innkeepers you read about. They were welcoming and available with advice, history of the area, and help with booking tours of the area. They have gathered a group of tour guides, drivers and Tuk Tuk drivers that they trust with their guests. You will be in good hands. The rooms are spacious and have the largest shower area I've ever encounter at any hotel. The pool area is tranquil. There is a small, creative food menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a full bar for relaxing at the end of the day. My only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

One of my most favorite hotels in 2016
I have to say that the hotel is one of the best places that I have stayed this year. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly hotel staff. The hotel is not very big and has the feeling of a 'boutique' and right at home type atmosphere. The reception area and the dinner are nicely decorated. Mary, the owner of the place, was extremely helpful in arranging the transport for us which helps a lot with our excursion. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom is huge! The food at the hotel, especially the lok lak, was very good. This goes the same for the breakfast, although the portion should be bigger ; ) The hotel also is close by to a very good local Cambodian restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Santa Clara a lot and would definitely come back here next time we visit Siem Reap.

Could get better value for money
The rooms and ground are nice. The breakfast was good although slow service. It is worth noting that management has changed hands to an Australian couple recently and we wish them the best with this (difficult!) endeavour! Our main concerns were: 1. We had a cold shower every day for our stay despite informing management - they did try to fix the problem but we still ended up with a cold shower the day after. 2. We didn't think the reception staff were as helpful as we would have hoped - communication was an issue. I know it's Cambodia and English is not the first language, but when you are paying this price you would expect there would not be an issue when communicating itineraries and costs. If you rely a lot on reception for planning your trip then maybe this hotel is not for you. In conclusion we feel we could have got better value for our money.

Relaxing and excellent.
I was going to stay for just one night but extended my stay as this was such a wonderful base to see the local temples. The room and bathroom were flawless. The outside area was condusive to full relaxation and the owners could not have been better people. The hotel also provided 100% hassle-free tuk-tuks to take me to the temples I wanyed to see, with the most courteous and no-nonsense drivers. If you want to relax and be in a great environment with friendly and worldy people, you cannot go wrong here.

Unbelievable
From the time we arrived at the hotel till our departure, we were treated very nicely. The owners and the staffs are very helpful in giving advices and they all showed their concerns about how we felt about everything and how our daily activities were. The room was spacious and the make to order breakfast was delicious. Even though the hotel was not near Pub Street & Old Market, it was very convenient to use the hotel tuk tuk to go there. We always called the hotel to pick us up when we were ready to go back. We felt more safe to do that. The owner was so kind that she let us use a guest room to take showers and rest since our bus trip to other city was scheduled in the late evening.

Quiet Sanctuary - in Siem Reap!
Wonderful large rooms/bathrooms in a peaceful location. Arguably the best nights sleep we've enjoyed anywhere in Cambodia. The manager, Lynn, has plenty of ideas for additional days out besides visits to Angkor, with several drivers available to help. Would certainly stay here again.
