We really enjoyed Ombra Angkor. Stayed for two nights in mid-February. The property is a bit old, but clean enough and super friendly. Everything worked - internet, lights, AC. Hot water a bit lukewarm, but really unnecessary given the heat.
Our rooms were on the ground floor, 20 feet from the pool. The pool's not huge, but clean and comfortable. Very quiet rooms and grounds, despite being on a pretty big street. The location was ok, a $2 TukTuk ride from the central market area by the river.
Angkor Wat was incredibly crowded, but that may be because it was Chinese New Year.
The breakfast was not fancy, but more than adequate. And all the smiles from the staff made us feel nice.
