"We just returned today from a 5-day stay at Siebenfelsen. The host family was very hospitable and generally welcoming. The house is immaculately clean and lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The street the house is on a two lovely Gasthäuser within walking distance and is only a short drive away from the main village of Elzach, which is just gorgeous. We highly recommend staying here and would love to be back again in the future."

"Alles hat gepasst. Ein schönes Haus, nicht mehr ganz taufrisch von außen, aber mit absolutem Charme! Von innen sehr, sehr gemütlich und mit neuen Bädern und Schlafzimmern auf dem Stand der Zeit. Tolle Vermieterin, die sich kümmert. Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Ravennaschlucht, zum Titisee und zum Feldberg. Hinterzarten 40 Minuten zu Fuß, super Spaziergang. Genügend Restaurants fussläufig vorhanden. Absolute Empfehlung!!!"

"Prachtige locatie voor magnifieke wandelingen. Het huisje heeft alles wat we nodig hebben maar niet voor de winter. Die verwarming met hout is echt niet gezond. het huis is een en al rook. Er komt rook uit in de living via die buizen. Die installatie moet nagekeken worden."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Lovely location and well equipped accommodation. Only downsides were upstairs room hadn't been cleaned all that well and the pillows were inadequate, but we enjoyed the stay nonetheless. Some nice neighbours!"

"The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. There's a very nice garden with a courtyard. The only problem was the basement floor. There's a big bedroom there with a shower, but we could'nt be there. It's very cold there and the smell was...

"This was a very large property which catered well for our needs. Communication was easy. The town was limited in what it offered but this could have been due to holidays. Free train passes were provided which was great. Extra and firmer pillows would have beeen nice! Thank you very much for a lovely stay."

"Das Objekt ist der Hammer. Ideal für große Familien, die z.B. weit auseinander wohnen, um sich zu treffen und ein paar schöne gemeinsame Tage zu verbringen. Es ist wirklich alles da was man brauchen könnte und zusätzlich sind die Vermieter echt nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet."

"A great place to stay. The house was absolutely lovely. Very clean and comfortable. There is a bakery in the village about a minutes walk away which is delicious. The house has a lovely patio outside and a garden. The hosts Marie Antoinette and Robert did so much to make us welcome and ensured we had a super holiday. They are the best hosts. Anyone who stays here will certainly love the property and the hosts!"

"Op mooie, centrale locatie gelegen verblijf. In het huis is alles heel netjes schoon en alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Ook belangrijk voor ons was dat er airco aanwezig was. Anders was het wel warm geweest onder het platte dak. Parkeren op eigen parkeerplek is ook zeer fijn, waar je ook de fietsen goed kunt neerzetten."

"This was the second time we have stayed in this property and it was every bit as good as we remembered. This time we took advantage of the guest cards, travelling into Freiburg on the train….free of charge and so easy. When we arrived there were Easter decorations, eggs and a lovely bottle of local wine. Would definitely recommend."
