"An idyllic countryside location. Stunning views. The pool area actually looks even nicer than the photos. Very relaxed spot, with an added bonus of donkeys! Dinner was wonderful. Rooms are very clean and beds were comfortable. Fridge didnt seem to work, but that wasnt a big issue."

"I was not happy about the place as it failed when attempting to check-in. 1st) check-in is listed as 3PM, so I arrived slightly after 3PM and no one was at the place to allow check-in. 2nd) They only communicated thru Hotels.com app and I couldn'tr check in till 6PM. 3rd) The room's AC only works when you insert their key, but when you leave for dinner, the AC turns off (not smart when temps were very high 4th) at check-in, we were told breakfast was no included despite it saying on Hotels.com...

"Loved the villa type atmosphere with a very home-y staff. Very family oriented and unique. B, L & D meals were all prepared by a family of cooks (“the Mamas”) and truly fabulous tasting. Only spent 1 day there and wish we spent 2-3 days. A/C could have been colder as we were there during a 93F temps with very high humidity. But they have a pool in the back and a plunge pool in front. Great for a cigar outside at night. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this warm & friendly...

"Ok first off, this is a beautiful property. The proprietors were welcoming and friendly. It is clean and safe. I did feel like their website and marketing photos were a little misleading, once I arrived because it is a very small operation with only a couple of rooms. Dinner wasn't offered because there were not enough guests, which I understand, but this place is pretty remote and driving 20 minutes to dinner and back was not something I had planned on having to do. "Stunning location. Lovely host and super helpful nephew - nothing was too much trouble. . Beach a short walk away - will give you a good work out though! Remote but drive away from shops in Siculiana and other remote beaches along the coast. We had the best time. Thank you."

Comfortable relaxing place with a great restaurant

"We loved our stay at Passo dei Briganti! It's about 8 minutes by car from the Valley of the Temples, and about 15 minutes to San Leone beach. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and had a nice assortment of savory items and pastries, but the real star is dinner. We ordered two amazing fish dishes, plus roasted vegetables from their garden and a salad of red and green tomatoes, and then when we saw a pesto white pizza among their pizza offerings, we had to get one of those, too. We couldn't finish it, so our waiter boxed it up for us and we ate it for lunch the next day on our way to Siracusa. The meal with a bottle of Sicilian chardonnay, a bottle of sparkling water and a pistachio tartuffo for dessert was 78 euros. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bed was a little on the firm side. It was a "queen" that was actually 2 narrow twins pushed together, and each side creaked differently under our weight. Despite this, I would come back here in a heartbeat and stay at least 2 nights to get more beach time, and a chance to see more of the town of Agrigento."
