Great place. Loved the covered outdoor area. Well equipped cottage, everything you need to cook for yourselves. Great location, Beach and cafes a few minutes walk away. All enclosed yard, so was great for our fur child.

My wee dog loved the big yard and we appreciated it was fully enclosed. Loved our stay - some more chairs in lounge wouldn’t go amiss and mildly annoying taking own sheets and towels but other than that fantastic

Pleasant family holiday stay
The accommodation is walking distance to the beach, the local shops and restaurants. The owner was very easy to communicate with and gave clear instructions regarding check-in and check-out procedures. The property is very dog friendly. We brought our 2-year old cavoodle with us and he liked exploring the backyard.

Winter getaway
We have stayed in this property once before and it was nice so we decided to come again. This was one of those rare occasions where the property has actually gotten better! The Reno’s to the bathrooms and better heating have improved the property a lot, and we can’t wait to come back again next year.

Magical Madolly
We had an amazing stay at Madolly. The house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Our kids and dogs enjoyed playing in the secure back yard and we loved waking to the beach each day. Madolly is walking distance to everything you need/want. Restaurants, cafe, parks, walks, beaches and more. We felt totally relaxed and at home. We will definitely be booking again.

Had another wonderful stay. Home is well stocked in case you forget something. Never a shortage either of cutlery and crockery. Location is a short walk to the foreshore of Shoal Bay. Plenty of undercover parking and an impressive outdoor entertainment space. Will be staying again

Positives: Fabulous little cottage, very homely & comfortable. Large outdoor rear covered deck with BBQ & entertaining area. Good size backyard for our dog, who found the property very comfortable too. 5 min walk into town & beach. Undercover carport garage for your vehicle. Negatives: Can be a noisy road at times when we were sleeping mostly in the early morning being a residential area. Would be better with sheets & towels included in the price as other properties do include. Outside 2nd toilet should be available to use even with 3 people, states you must have 4 or more people.

Great beach vibe!
Madolly is situated close to shops and Shoal Bay beach and is a true beach house. We have a pet so being pet friendly was a bonus and we also have a boat, so having a large lockable carport was appreciated. The Port Stephens area is a great place to holiday - many things to do!

Good relaxing break
Great spot for walks and trips to the beach. The property is well placed to walk to shoal bay beach for a swim. Or alternatively, if you like long walks then walk up to the peaks or along the track to Fingal bay and out over the spit at low tide. It was an added plus we could bring our dogs. The yard is fully enclosed and the it’s relaxing sitting on the back deck.

Gorgeous Shoal Bay
Madolly was a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The property was clean, comfortable and well appointed… it truly has everything that you need. I suppose it would be a bonus to have linen and towels included, but it’s not a big deal having to bring them along. Madolly is in a great location, just off the main drag. I can really see the potential in hosting a large family because the outdoor area is brilliant!!! We absolutely loved our stay and will return in the future!

Excellent Location
Madolly Cottage is an awesome beach shack in a prime location near Shoal Bay. We spent most of our time on the back deck and in the huge backyard. The house has everything you need for a group getaway. Cheers
