The non-sleeping rooms will be very cold in winter, the food served is the food served, without changes available, there are rules about which slippers to wear where and what can be photographed, etc. If you’re interested in deep travel (versus hedonism), you will be gifted and changed....

"Had a good one night stay here. I was worried it wouldn’t be enough time to see everything i wanted too, but it turned out to be perfect. You can drop off your luggage before and after you check in which is really nice. Highlights for me were the public bath, and morning ceremony."

"It's a great hotel, it has anything you need. Private bathrooms are clean and and provided with amenities. Shampoo, soap, conditioner, brush, sponge, etc. A great buffet breakfast is provided Also it has vending machines and also the hotel has an Onsen (hot spring) and public bathing facility on the 1st floor. I highly recommend it "
