"This home was perfect for our family to gather and relax in! Lots of spaces to spread out in and to come together in. The beds are very comfortable; I meant to look to see the brand of memory foam (?) mattresses they have but put it off until it was too late. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and pots & pans. The internet was better than advertised and we didn't have any problem connecting several devices and streaming videos all at the same time. I suspect the water is from a well as it had a slight sulfur smell to it (as others have complained about) but we got used to it and didn't notice it after the first day. The water heater is small though, and I never got a good shower - mostly because I took mine after doing dishes or after my SO had taken theirs. The showers came with single-use sized bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body soap bars, what a nice surprise. There is a TON of parking, though the drive way might get dicey if there was any ice on the ground. Across the street is the water and your access to it. It is a seep set of wooden stairs down to a landing/deck and then another set of stairs down to the beach - unfortunately though, these last steps ended about 2 feet above the ground and there was a lot of tree trunks and other tree debris there making getting down trickier than we though worth it. The grounds around the home are nicely landscaped with several apple (?) trees. There is also a pickleball (?) / small basketball "

"What a fantastic place to stay! From the custom cedar doors to the fantastic views of Hood Canal and Mt. Rainier, this glorious home has it all. There is ample room for the whole family and the entertainment room downstairs is great! Well stocked kitchen. Outdoor areas add additional space. We enjoyed our time here. "

"This was our second time staying in this home, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The house itself is a gem: the downstairs and upstairs each have their own kitchen and living room, in addition to two bedrooms. There is plenty of room for people to gather or have their own space, all of it with incredible views. The foosball table was a major hit with our kids, and the deck with couches and loungers was a favorite place to hang out and watch the water and all of the animals. We saw kingfishers, eagles, heron, porpoises, and otters, as well as starfish, jellyfish, crabs and clams on our beach walks (the beach is just a few steps away!). We got our produce from the Chimicum Farm Stand and spent time shopping and exploring the restaurants of Port Townsend. It was all wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing, nature-filled vacation, this is it! "

"This home is beautiful inside and out. The serene setting was a pleasure to take in from every room in the house and access to the water was incredibly convenient. We loved sitting out on the back patio drinking coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evenings as the sun set. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Window coverings have been added to the western facing windows which was nice (I would still recommend adding more because the sun starts to come in around 4:30am. But chose wisely, because you really don't want to block that view.) Additionally, we found the bedding and towels completely acceptable and similar to the quality you would find at a hotel. We did experience issues with the internet which was not fixed until we were in direct contact with the owner (who had not been made aware from what I understand). The issue was resolved for our last day. The televisions are internet TVs, so without that, we could not watch anything (which was okay for us as we much preferred to enjoy the surrounding outdoors), A few items future travelers may want to bring as the house did not have them: Hairdryer, Iron/Steamer, and hangers for the closets. The kitchen was very well stocked with nice quality items. We did notice that there was not the normal instruction manual to advise when to take the trash out or how to work certain appliances...where to find the propane for the grill, etc. Also the lock/key was testy and not where we were told."
