"Convenient location to the train station. The room is cozy, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The water pressure is great, so it is easy to have a relaxing shower. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and had great options. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day."

"Had had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction."

Loved the Onsen, loved that we could cook our own dinner, the hikes, went for a run. This is one of our favourite places and we would highly recommend. "Higashiyama onsen is a lovely, narrow canyon on the outskirts of Aizuwakamatsu. The red and blue sightseeing buses stop within 150 yards of the hotel. The onsen baths are not too hot. The food is great. Our room was a regular one and was spacious. All in all it was a very nice place. "
