"Very well-appointed accommodation; immaculately clean and comfortable for 4 persons especially family or couples. The bathroom with the tub, unfortunately, did not have a shower curtain or any way water could be prevented from splashing on the floor which created a compulsory cleaning up of the too much water on the floor after bathing. I thougt it was an oversight but it created unintended inconvenience, besides making the foot/floor bathroom towel too wet too soon. This should be an easy fix...

"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. "I would say overall that the property is okay or average. For two adults, both of whom are between six feet tall and over, it felt a little cramped. The cleanliness is average due to the fact that some of dressers and tables were a little rickety or had stains on them when we came in. No bugs of any kind, however, which was great. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils for cooking, however there was no cookie or baking sheet so you'd have to use tin foil or buy a cooking pan....

"Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. "We had a lovely weekend. The apartment was spotless and had comfy beds and sofas. It was well-equipped with all the essentials and more. The location was ideal. It's a 2-min walk to get the bus into town (which takes around 10 minutes). There are also several good restaurants nearby. The host, Danny, was very friendly and responsive to messages.We'll definitely stay here again when we revisit Oxford."
