"This hotel is located within or next to the Kagoshima Chuo train station, which is very convenient for train travel and lots of dining and shopping to chose from. Hotel and room were very comfortable and clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful. Toiletries and amenities were provided in the lobby. There is a tourist information desk near the hotel entry so it’s convenient. I would recommend this hotel for visitors looking for a right priced hotel with great location and comfort."

"Great hotel with a great ocean view and onsen on site. Only issues I had were the following: if you don't rent or own a car, getting around will be somewhat inconvenient unless you're willing to shill out taxi fees. Restaurant was good but most restaurants in the hotel were fairly steep for a rural area of Japan. The onsen was great but there were spider webs all over the ceiling which was off-putting. "Overall a very good stay for family travellers. Huge hot spring area, buffet and proximity to the national park for a reasonable premium. The immediate surrounding area is walkable. To reach Kirishima Jingu and trail heads inside NP you need a car. Bus routes run only 2-4 times a day. If you have to take a bus watch out for departure times."
